"What a great night out. Thanks to Noor and Ahad of the Nazma. Food always great accompanied with excellent service and well worth the trip to Ellon. Gutted when Bridge street Nazma closed as I'd been a customer over 25 years nearly every week andostly twice a week. A photo of a memory added Kid friendliness: Noor and Ahad always been kid friendly, my son started sucking on poppadoms, moved to nuggets with curry sauce had the whole class invited for birthday meal even had a magician lunchtime, kids made a mess as they would, but all taken as great fun fir the kids and attentive, interactive all the time. He is now 10 and still asks for Nazma and eats vindaloo adult size meals. Thank you Nazma. "We went following the review in a Sunday newspaper and felt slightly let down. As it didn't quite live up to the hype. The service was friendly and the young members of our group were made to feel very welcome. The coffee was good and there was definitely a choice. As with many coffee shops hard surfaces makes the place noisy. So it was sometimes difficult to have a conversation. Everything we ordered was fine and I would probably go again if passing but wouldn't go out of my way to go again. I had a sausage ciabatta which was mostly bread I left the lid. The cakes were all nice but heavy on the sugar. It was busy all the time so a favourite for people in the area. Booking at lunchtime is probably a good idea. If I hadn't read the review and their website I would probably enjoyed it more."

"This place was heaving on a Wednesday evening, probably because there are so very few places in Scotland to eat out? Menu reads well with some interesting options. Service was good. The ubiquitous Haggis Bonbons were OK but weirdly sat on an Asian-Flavoured slaw of some sort, Steak Stroganoff with rice was creamy pleasant, but Crispy Chicken stir-fry was so overloaded with (bottled? sweet sour sauce that it was almost inedible. Perhaps stick to standard dishes if you eat here?"

Alistair (I believe he’s the "Monster in Chief") was particularly enthusiastic and engaging, explaining the sauces, sharing insights about their craft, and even giving us hot sauce taste tests. His dedication shines through, and I genuinely hope the business continues to thrive! If you're considering a visit, I highly recommend it. There’s plenty of space between the tables, you can order food to your liking, and the staff all wore masks for customers' safety. This is a very special place, and we will definitely be back!"

"I had gone to Haddo House expecting to have a coffee in the tearoom attached to the House. I had no idea that there was another option, situated in a small building just across from the car park. I went in quite late in the afternoon, thinking it might be closing, but I was able to order a coffee and chose a strawberry cupcake to go with it. The coffee was very flavoursome and the cake hit the spot with a generous amount of icing on top and a juicy berry. The staff were polite and pleasant, and it all felt very relaxed. There are also tables outside, which would be fine when the heavy rain passed over. At a cost of £4.10 it was at the inexpensive end of the range for such things. I was very pleased with my experience."
