"we're here while we were on vacation. I was not quite sure what to expect, but was super impressed by the restaurant. the personal was friendly, the environment really nice and eating was top notch. I had the chicken sherpa, who was absolutely excellent and made her really decent portions sound so that they did not starve. I live over 2 hours away from the kathmandu, but if I were closer, if I am here regularly."

"Previously visited the Queen 's Head in July 2023, for lunch with friends. At the time we all thought it was a lovely pub, good service and food, helpful staff. We visited today 14th June 2024 and were disappointed. The staff did their jobs and were polite and thankfully not over effusive that 's a positive in my book. There was a VERY limited choice of draft bitter only Doombar, in fact. As for the food.... I had soup which was watery and lacked flavour. I don 't know, but it tasted like it had recently inhabited a tin! The toasted bread and butter had a suggestion of garlic butter but was served with a small pat of butter. Not sure what that 's about! My friend and I had schnitzels which were dry and chewy the portion of chips was economical and the salad little more than a suggestion. The coffee I had was good though and piping hot. If I 'd been served this meal in a Wetherspoons, I 'd have rated it adequate but for an independent pub I wasn 't impressed. As an aside, I noticed that the smallish car park had plenty of space last year I got the last space. In fairness, that could be coincidence but it was a Friday lunchtime. This pub is s bit like my old school reports could do better ....and it used to!"

"I came with a young lady I was looking for today. she wanted to eat a because and sorrento chose after she had heard great critikens. I had pollo sorrento, who was stunning, and the young lady had lamb shank, she absolutely loved it cooked. to perfection. the service we had was brillint, very attentive and all the staff were very happy and friendly. I will definitely come back and the young lady has already planned to go back with another worker! Many thanks for a beautiful meal and make this young lady very happy and very full!"

"Sunday lunch in March 2023. You may wonder why I am writing this review so long after the event? The simple truth is we all lead busy lives and finding the time is often difficult. I am currently on holiday and just had a nice lunch here in Fuerterventura but it was not a patch on the family lunch we had back in March at the Exchequer but at least it reminded me to do this review! We had a family gathering in March (16 of us in total) which included three generations of the family from young grandchildren to not so old grandparents (my wife and I). The service we had was brilliant (thank you Aleiah and Hannah) nothing seemed too much trouble. The food we had was excellent but more than all that the warm welcome we received on arrival and the general atmosphere made this a memorable Sunday lunch. Regards and thanks to all, Dave Aĺ"

"I ordered a takeaway at 6:30 PM and I live only a 5-minute drive away, according to Google Maps. Being a Saturday, we anticipated they would be busy, but when the food hadn’t arrived by 8:00 PM, we called to inquire. We were informed that they had indeed been busy and that our order was on the way. Reasonably, we expected it to arrive by 8:10 PM. Instead, it showed up at 8:25 PM. Although we are situated in a courtyard, the Waze app should guide you directly to our door. Unfortunately, the driver got lost, and when I stepped outside to help, they asked if I knew where my house number was! It’s a pity it took so long because when the food finally arrived, it was delicious. To improve this experience, a message indicating how busy they are along with a realistic wait time would help customers make a more informed decision."
