"Beautiful location, but the food, and service from the Duty Manager was awful. When he asked how our food was I explained the burger wasn’t nice (I had less than a 1/4 of it) and the chips were not 3 times cooked as they were solid in the middle. He just stood and stared at me and I had to ask him to take my plate away. No apology was made and I wasn’t asked if I wanted anything else. I do now wish I’d taken a photo of the meal now. We did get a pic of my friends ‘mash’ which would have been placed as wall filler. When the bill came I asked Tim (lovely waiter) why the burger was on the bill. He said he’d remove it. 2 minutes later the angry Duty Manager returned to tell me I’d ‘only’ complained about the chips and had ate half the burger so it wasn’t being removed, which just wasn’t true. He begrudgingly said the 10% service charge had been removed. The other 3 in my party weren’t all that happy with theirs, but didn’t think it worth complaining due to his attitude. It was only Tim that apologised for the poor meal. Definitely wouldn’t return, which is a shame as they could make this into something lovely for visitors."

This hotel was very convienient to th Giant's Causeway. It is across the street from the main path. It included a made to order breakfast served in a beautiful banquet room. The room was comfortable and include a great view of the ocean. Check in was easy. No elevators to the upper floor. The hotel decor was outstanding.

As the only National Trust hotel, it’s the no-brainer for the actual Causeway, being the closest and with the Visitor Centre as part of the site too. Rooms are spacious and warm, people are so polite and friendly, so they are. Get room 31 if you can, great views and a terrace. Ps. Staying here gets you free entry into the Visitor Centre. Highly recommended. Great base for visiting all the Game of Thrones locations too! Magical.

I had a fantastic time at this small hotel on the Antrim coast. Every aspect of our stay was outstanding, from check-in to the delicious breakfast and dinner each night. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, even when they were busy. Our room was cozy with a beautiful view of the coast. The walks and scenery were stunning, especially the walk to the next village and Bushmills. I can't wait to come back in the winter. Voir le carte

We recently enjoyed a wonderful weekend getaway at the Causeway Hotel. The hotel is charming, with many original features and a stunning location. The weekend package includes entry to the Giant's Causeway, which is a fantastic extra. The food at the hotel is excellent, but the standout feature is the exceptional service provided by the staff. I highly recommend staying here and exploring the beautiful North Coast while you have the opportunity.

This place has gone downhill so badly. I remember the hotel before it was franchised out by The National Trust I was there for dinner with 3 friends. Menu looked fine Very little local produce--apart from fish and Coleraine Cheddar Service poor--run by children bar 1 senior member of staff. Food quality poor--Garlic cheesy bread at nearly £9--awful. Mushroom in cheesy sauce--very few mushrooms. Chicken was tasty Asked for ice 3 times Asked for butter twice-it had not arrived with the salmon roulade It needs a more local flavour--Irish Champ !! Pie with Stout Steak with a Bushmills Sauce--A few examples

The Causeway Hotel was a lovely place for two weary travelers. My husband and I landed in Dublin (flight from Boston) at 7:45am, rented a car and headed north. After settling in to our room and exploring the Causeway, we enjoyed a delicious dinner at the Causeway Hotel. We had an early breakfast there too (with great vegan options) which allowed us to walk down to the Causeway well before tour busses and crowds arrived. The carpark at the Causeway is open from 9am-5pm, so by staying at the hotel, you can walk to the Causeway at off times when it’s not so busy. I would recommend not paying the extra for a sea view as it is very far away, and your main view is the hotel parking lot. Voir le carte

The location of this restaurant is key, as it is great for walkers, sightseers, and causeway tours. We visited on a Sunday and found it to be very busy. The staff manager gave us a warm welcome and made us feel at home, even arranging a late lunch for us. We booked two rooms for our teenagers, which were tidy and had balconies, although there were no chairs outside. The beds were not very comfortable and the pillows were hard and lumpy. The hotel has an old-world charm and cozy feel, with nice decorations. Unfortunately, the food was not good and was expensive. Despite this, we found the accommodation to be value for money as it is centrally located near many attractions. We also enjoyed vis...

We have just returned from a family weekend at this hotel and honestly could not fault it! The location is perfect and a great base point for visiting so many other places. It is easy to access and has a very large carpark which means there is never an issue. It is right on the doorstep of The Giants Causeway and being a resident at the hotel gives you free access to the Giants Causeway Visitor Centre which is also great. The rooms were very spacious and are cleaned daily with a large selection of towels in each room and a great array of toiletries. The facilities are great and we were in both the bar and restaurant and the food was amazing. However what really makes this hotel is the staff th...

"We visited here to have the bar food. We we 're greeted by the waitress who quickly told us the restaurant was full. We explained that was Ok. We would eat in the bar. We were then handed A la Carte menus and spent the next five minutes completely confused because we had called earlier and were assured the bar food was being served. Only when we asked the waitress duds he acknowledge the bar food was available. She then brought us one menu between seven of us. The menu looked good. Six of us ordered off the bar menu. One from the a la carte. Dishes came with a side order of rice, potatoes or chips. The food came is reasonable time but we then found ourselves waiting for the rice to come out (it was noted as the serving suggestion with the chilli chicken and the curry dishes we ordered. When it didn 't come we asked the waitress who explained we hadn 't ordered it it was only a serving suggestion . Given that dishes come with a side order, surely she should have asked when we ordered what we would like with the dish? Bizarre. So we ordered the rice. A few minutes later one serving came out and we were told the kitchen had run out of rice! Unbelievable. We ordered chips as the consolation prize. This place needs a good food and beverage supervisor to knock it into some shape. The food was good but the service lets it down. The price was also reasonable but it feels like the restaurant is given priority over the bar food."
