beautiful atmosphere and personal. modern facilities, brilliant tee and coffee facilities right before delivery to milk to the bedroom door in the early morning. hair dryer and judges for stay. modern en-suite. breakfast abundant and tasty. would recommend.

Simply the best, amazingly friendly and nothing as to much trouble. Beautiful room with everything you need for a comfortable sty. To top it off it was the first time we'd travelled with our dog and she had the best time too. Highly recommended and we'll definitely stop again.

A little diamond, rooms are very clean and comfortable, food amazing, staff very friendly and helpful. Definitely be booking again. Rooms: The bed and pillows are amazing, so comfy . This charming old inn features excellent staff who were very accommodating when part of our group of 14 arrived late. We requested to eat an hour later than planned and they were able to accommodate us on short notice. The food was also very good. The rooms are beautifully decorated, full of character, yet equipped with modern amenities. We will definitely return!

Stopped here for coffee cake before going on to explore the castle the church. The refreshments were excellent, if a little expensive. Beautiful setting the front of the property looks great with wisteria around the door. Lovely large beer garden out the back with plenty of tables chairs, as well as a semi-permanent gazebo, which is presumably the stage for the entertainment.

I only had one night here but I loved it. The rooms, pub and dining area are full of character. The bathroom was really good with really nice toiletries. We were given fresh milk for our room and delivered more in the morning. The food and drink was excellent with good real ale on tap. Best of all, the hotel kindly posted a car key we had left in the room and we received it the day after we got home.

We had a wonderful evening at the Castle Inn celebrating my birthday. The room was beautifully decorated, featuring a large, incredibly comfortable bed. We were greeted with a delightful welcome dish that included delicious locally produced cookies, tea, coffee, and fresh milk. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast at the restaurant, and both meals were excellent. What really stood out to us was the warmth and friendliness of the staff and locals. We can't wait to come back in the summer!

The atmosphere is wonderful and the food is fantastic. The pub has a lot of character, featuring low beams, stone accents, and charmingly worn floors. The room is comfortable and clean, and there's a lovely garden at the back. The owners and staff are friendly and extremely accommodating. We had originally booked a table for 13, but due to unforeseen circumstances, we needed to push our reservation back by an hour on a busy bank holiday evening. The owner was more than happy to accommodate our request. We enjoyed an excellent meal accompanied by friendly and attentive service. Thank you to the inn!
