we stopped at this pub today. eating was excellent and the service very good when considering that they were busy. very friendly waitress took our order. we were all really happy with everything.

a night during our walk of the south downs way. stay in a very comfortable dog friendly room. special mention of debbie and lois on the breakfast team five stars service with a smile very efficient and nothing was too much annoyed. all staff were friendly and professional. even enjoyed watching it morris men and women!

great location and beautiful view, as we sat outside to eat. the eating was mistaken with clean tellers and a full magnifying from the big portion size, but what made this even better was the welcoming, friendly staff who smiled, chatted and attentive, there is. many places that could learn a lot from them. will certainly return and be recommended to family and friends. great work for all affected
