We met friends here as it was half way between both of us and we had a really good experience. The food was delicious. We especially liked the pork belly bites and the smoked garlic hummus and flat bread.

this beautiful pub was recommended by several people and my partner and I finally visited. the personal was charming, wein good, but I can't comment on beer as I was just driving on soft drinks. menu appears to give a venue a cut above its average gastropub, so we go back and eat there briefly, then I can update this review.

Lovely family and dog friendly pub. Staff were lovely. Service a little slow but it was a busy Saturday lunchtime. Food was excellent for a pub. I had the duck stir fry a wonderful mix of flavours, good chilli kick and the duck was tender and succulent. The passion fruit crème brûlée was one of the best I've had and the scoop of zingy sorbet complimented the taste well. Will definitely visit again when I'm in the area.

We enjoyed a cozy late lunch on Friday afternoon as a perfect kickoff to the weekend. The highlight was the incredible cheese bacon burger, served with homemade coleslaw and fries. For dessert, we indulged in sticky toffee pudding topped with toffee sauce and salted caramel ice cream. The wine list was quite impressive as well, so we chose the Malbec Punto Alto 2022 from Mendoza, Argentina to complement our burgers. The total cost per person was around £30–40.
