"We dined with friends and enjoyed a fabulous three-course lunch! For the starter, I had the tomato basil soup, followed by the pork and stuffing pie with chips, which were some of the best I've ever tasted. My partner started with pork belly bites and had chili with rice for the main course—both were perfectly portioned. We finished off with a delightful dessert of sticky toffee pudding served with a decadent sauce and a chocolate mousse topped with cherries, making for a perfect conclusion to a wonderful meal. I would definitely return! The seating was extremely comfortable, and we were lucky enough to sit by the log burner since it was quite cold outside. If you haven't been yet, I highly recommend it. The service was great, and the staff were very kind!"

Delicious food! There was a very friendly lady behind the bar, and the pub food was of great quality. You can also dine outside in the beer garden, which is lovely. This place really came through for us when the pub down the street stopped serving food at 2 PM.

Had Sunday Lunch....It was really good not expensive, great staff, good beer. Service and food really good. We were allowed to order small roast each and share a pudding. As seniors we can't eat huge meals and hate wasting food. Highly recommend this as all round friendly pub. Fab Sunday roast, loads of beef, and a plateful of delicious roast potatoes, carrots, parsnip, runner beans (sweet and perfectly cooked), Yorkshire pudding, and pot of gravy. Service was polite and discrete, and the bill very reasonable. We booked over the phone, and were also able to choose our meat beforehand.
