"The food is superb! We had sea bass and fish and chips. The haddock is of a very generous helping in light batter. The sea bass is very interesting- in a very light spice, like curry but mild. The potato was cooked in turmeric, so lighter than a bombay potato. I enjoyed it greatly because I like spices. A pity the excellent food wasn't matched by the service. Slow in clearing the table, in getting the bill and in taking the payment. We went to the bar to pay ourselves, as we waited for too long."

Our go-to restaurant has consistently been a dependable choice. We have no horror stories to share. The ambiance is lovely, the food is great, and the service is prompt. What more could you ask for? (Just steer clear of the coffee—it’s surprisingly a weak spot for them.)
