The Bull Inn Arborfield

A great refurbishment by new owners! Delicious food , piping hot! Service excellent! Will definitely make a return visit!

This pub has been transformed, the food is amazing we had sea bass, lamb which was mouth watering, and my son had a large burger. We will definitely return and look forward to the pizzas in the new garden bar. We were also informed that they will be doing live music. Well done.

The staff at this restaurant is well-trained and knowledgeable. The portion sizes are just right, not overwhelming like typical American portions. The lunch menu is impressive, especially the squid dish. The staff is also well-informed about the selection of beers available. I will definitely be returning to dine here again. Voir le carte

I attended with friends for the first time since The Bull had reopened. I was pleasantly surprised. The décor, furnishings and cutlery were of a good standard. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was freshly prepared of good quality and the portions were more than adequate. I had the fish and chips it was Friday! and would certainly order such again. It won't be too long before I return to The Bull. Many thanks to all the staff.

We visited The Bull for Sunday lunch. It is a lovely pub with a really good menu. We shared the mussels as a starter which were delicious in a fab sauce with really fresh bread. We had roast pork and roast sirloin of beef both were excellent with lovely veg, Yorkshire puds and roasted potatoes. The service was great with a friendly atmosphere. The wine list was really good and the overall price was very reasonable we’ll definitely go back soon.

Food was good but better on our first visit. Service was poor. Staff young and inexperienced and untrained. They didn't seem to know the menu and only told us there was a dish unavailable when we started to order. We did not get asked about any allergies or asked to taste the wine. No cutlery when our mains came out. Quite a long delay for some of the meals to come out. Our second visit, service worse on this occasion. I recently visited The Bull Inn for the first time since it got new owners. I went with three friends from Arborfield and had an amazing meal. The roast duck breast was incredible, the vegetables and mashed potatoes were excellent, and my friends also loved their dishes. The owner came over to chat with us and mentioned that custard would now be served with the already delicious sticky toffee pudding, and ginger beer would be added to the drinks menu. I can't recommend this restaurant enough.

The most wonderful Sunday lunch at a lovely pub under new management and ownership! This pub is now run by Alycia Tom who have absolutely transformed the pub and gardens and are serving the most amazing food. As a family with lots of young children they have an amazing play area out back now and a really nice children’s menu. It was a really busy Sunday when we went but the food was prompt, service excellent and facilities beautifully presented. We honestly can’t wait to return again and try the main menu and will recommend to all our friends.

We had a wonderful evening at this restaurant with excellent service from the attentive and friendly staff. The food was perfectly cooked and the bread was absolutely amazing. Although they were out of some items on the menu, they were very helpful in recommending alternative options that were just as good. The garden was bustling on a sunny and warm evening. We enjoyed the mezzo, particularly the olive and sun-dried tomato stuffed bread. The pork T-bone was incredibly tender and flavorful, and the burger was delicious. There were plenty of options on the menu, so be sure to give it a try. I would definitely come back to buy that bread! Voir le carte
