Really nice food, all had the sirloin and all loved it portions size are perfect, really nice staff and good prices

Recently refurbished. The food is excellent, but the wait seemed unnecessary. Service could be a bit more attentive and overall yes I'd come back.

Bar staff where friendly and helpful we was a large group of pre ordered 3 course meals the food came out in great timing and I was honestly suprised how good it was and the portion sizes were very generous would definitely return thankyou Voir le carte

Visited last friday for a snack on way home. Shared the Nachos with pull pork and some olives. The food was great and outdoor seating good. A special mention must be made for the friendly atmosphere and welcoming staff. Highly recommended and will be visiting again. Thank you.

We ate here tonight and highly recommend it! The venison pie was delicious as was the Mediterranean vegetable pasta, pulled pork burger and the Bull burger. The desserts were amazing too. The staff made us feel very welcome and were very attentive. We are booked in for Sunday Roast this weekend so will add a review for that too. Wishing the new management and staff at The Bull all the very best!

The Bull has been a bit hit and miss in recent years with a number of changes of management. However, it's great to see it back to it's best under the current tenants. We were here for lunch and the food, and the welcome, was really great. Good to see that they also have many social events planned in the coming weeks. This has always been a nice pub and I hope the current tenants are well supported. On this evidence, they deserve to be. We will definitely be back. Voir le carte

The Bull has new management. We went back to give them a try. We sat outside to catch the setting sun and ordered some food. Pulled pork burger, fish and chips and peri peri chicken. Freshly prepared, portions were generous, prices are very reasonable £33 per head for a main, a pudding and two alcoholic drinks each. Service was very attentive. Clearly they are working hard to return the Bull to its former glory. It was a little quieter than we expected but they have made a strong start. They are also dog friendly. We will be back.

The empty carpark on a Sunday afternoon should have been our first clue. Terrible Sunday lunch. We’d been looking forward to trying The Bull. Unfortunately the whole experience was poor. The waitress didn’t seem to be enjoying her job in the least and we felt like an inconvenience. The highchair we were given was filthy. The roasts we ordered were incredibly poor. Meat overcooked, vegetarian option raw pastry. Potatoes that weren’t cooked in the middle and cold veg. The Yorkshire puddings were flat and the whole meal had a ‘heated up’ pre-prepared staleness to it. The outside of the pub was neglected with weeds and a general untidy feel. We won’t be back.

Upon arriving we waited 10 minutes for two bar staff dealing with a couple of customers complaining about their food ! This is when we should have walked out but decided to give them a chance ! Whilst having a drink another customer decided to complain about “ bits “ floating in their freshly poured pint. We ordered two belly buster Sunday dinner. Upon receiving the dinner it looked awful, the waitress asked if everything was ok to where I asked what this shrivelled up thing was on my plate to be told a Yorkshire pudding which was smaller than the potato to when I realised it looked like we had been served up in comparison to aunt Bessie not a tradition country pub roast like other pubs in t...
