"We were on our way back to Dover from London and had stopped off at the nearby Outlet Centre for some essential shopping. Feeling peckish before our return ferry to France, I looked up on Tripadvisor where we could get a nice evening meal. I found The Riverside Inn which looked promising. It being a Friday evening I was a bit worried about whether we could still get a table for 4 persons, but the lovely lady who took my call was very positive and extremely helpful. You can actually walk here over a bridge to this pub from the Outlet Centre but we took the car and parked right outside for free. The same young lady greeted us warmly and showed us to our table. I couldn't resist a decent pint of London Pride and then ordered the full rack of ribs with crispy sweet potato chips which were delicious. My son went for a modest sized chicken dish and the same sweet potato chips. My German friends struggled a bit to make themselves understood but our polite server was patient and helped them out. They also went for fruity ciders, both the alcoholic and non alcoholic versions. All good. By the time that we had left, later that same evening we were surprised and disappointed for the owners/staff that they were no other customers. We really loved this place, and we would encourage you to visit if in the area."

4th time coming here and the staff always consistently impress. The food was beautifully cooked and presented, the service was non intrusive and attentive, and the overall atmosphere was calming and relaxing. Always a pleasure to dine here!

Very nice little place. The lady serving us was very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious. We had baguettes with chips answered the food was top quality. Our son had something off the kids menu which was also lovely. Portion sizes great!

The best chicken roast. Hands down. Go for it. The gravy, cheesy cauliflowers, roasted chicken breast, all of them are too good. The quantity is also great. The other surprise was the Breaded Brie Wedges. This is the first time I had it and I think it's one of those starters that go with any drink/season. Voir le carte

Took a punt on this place. Didn't know any places where we could eat in Ashford so googled it. Oh my goodness so glad we found this place. Will definitely return. The food is marvellous. Fresh veg and lots of it and good variety. Can't recommend this inn enough. I had lamb roast although there were other meat choices my husband had scampi both well cooked and hot.

Fantastic find. Excellent pub food at reasonable prices. Service was excellent too. There appeared to be only 2 young ladies working when we were there on the 14th May. 1 taking orders and serving food and drink. The other cooking the food. Both did so with a very pleasant demeanour. A credit to the pub. If you go to the Ashford outlet stores, I highly recommend making the short walk to the Riverside Inn for a meal.
