"Been coming here for many years. But a few weeks ago I came here and my food was a bit hit and miss. But today was definitely the last time I will visit here with this present management. Second price hike and the food portions and quality has gone to the s excuse the pun). Cheese pie meal came with cold beans and a few chips. They would have heated my meal back up, but waited so long i couldn't be bothered)No cheese sauce anymore, unless you pay extra. What a shame that this place now serves you scraps for top dollar. Its usually full. But today very quiet. Not be long before this place will hit rock bottom. Shame really . I am not a vindictive person and will always give a fair review. To be verbally slaughtered by locals and friends, will not make me take this post down. The landlady was very pleasant . But the food was not good. ."

We love our local so much! It doesn't matter who serves you, they are always so happy, friendly smiling. Food is filling and hot. Serve a decent pint too.

Great quality food and reasonable price too. We didn't have to wait too long for the food either. I would definitely recommend the beer battered fish and chips.

Nice place, dogs allowed in bar area which is nice if you're out for a walk. Large car park across the road. Food was reasonably priced and nice but my only criticism is the chips , would have preferred proper chips instead of frozen!

nice eating here. had steak and ale pie only 'complaint' was the filling was extremely hot compared to the rest of the food. I can tolerate hot dips and drinks, but that has burned my mouth a bit and yes, we have commented on how hot it was to the personal

Lovely pub, manager is lovely, run off his feet, very busy pub, meals are lovely, staff need a rocket up the backside, they are very slow to clean table's, they seem to follow one another around chatting, not good for this busy pub, need older waiting staff,
