"The Black Bull in Brampton at 25 Church Lane in Huntingdon is excellent! Despite living in Brampton for 6 years, I had never eaten here, only had drinks. I wish I had tried the food earlier. The service from our waitress, whose name I unfortunately forgot to ask, was top-notch. She had only been there for 3 weeks, but she was friendly, attentive, and engaging. The food was unforgettable and of exceptional quality. I am usually skeptical of restaurants, but this one exceeded my expectations. I will reserve final judgment until my next visit, but I am already looking forward to returning. There were 4 of us in our group, and we had 3 appetizers, 4 main dishes, 3 desserts, 2 cocktails, 4 pints of beer, and 2 glasses of wine. The bill came to £78, which we thought was very reasonable. We visited on a Monday and the atmosphere was pleasant. The music was playing at a nice level and children and dogs were welcome in the bar area. Those who prefer not to dine with dogs can request a table in the restaurant section, which I believe they have, although I did not see it. They also have a large garden area where they host events like bonfire nights and live music evenings during the summer. Overall, I highly recommend paying a visit to The Black Bull. It's great to have a quality restaurant in the village that is affordable and offers delicious food and excellent service."

My husband, two dogs, and I visited The Black Bull for the first time today. We were all warmly welcomed and enjoyed a delicious Sunday dinner. The service was excellent and we will definitely be returning. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This was our first time dining at the Black Bull in 10 years, and we really enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and hospitality. Cheers to Black Bull! The price per person was between £30-£40. We rated the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect 5 out of 5.

We ate here the other night as a group of friends. One was coming from Sheffield and got waylaid on the journey. The staff were very generous to wait an hour and a half before we ordered, even though the kitchen was due to close, and we all enjoyed a delicious meal together plus some desserts. Excellent food and 5 service. Thoroughly enjoyed my mixed grill. Others in our party of eight had various selections from the menu the Burgers were popular along with Beef Burginion, Ham egg and chips, Lamb etc. All plates finished! I would like to express my gratitude to all of the staff at the Black Bull, particularly Michael, Malcom, and the talented chef Craig, who consistently delivers exceptional food. The Burns Night celebration was truly incredible and a hit with all who attended. Dr. Jim Greig OBE did a superb job hosting the event and reading the beautiful Burns poetry. Special thanks to Pipe Major Gary Kernaghan for his wonderful musical performance. The Black Bull consistently hosts amazing events and remains a fantastic community pub.
