"my partner and I stopped after a walk in the opposite and were thrilled by the food. we went for mostly tapas, the more “Mediterranean” type options like arancini. the goat cheese arancini were delicious, as were the salt pepper halloumi fries. all fried options have been made perfect, and not greasy (a pet peeve of me the vegan items that we had were a side salad (easy, nicely fed and not dressed) and the carrot butterflies. the carrot fritter deserve special mention, it was carrot and mais, beautifully spiced, and done perfectly again. I look forward to return to the bay horse and try more of their delicious vegetarian food! updated by the previous review on 2021-08-10"

my own and my husband called today to our dinner and could not find any mistake at all, we can be more critical, but at this occasion the experience was 100% error-free. the young man who served us was a pleasure to be busy. his manners were very good and the food was well presented and tasted so well that we asked him to let cook know how impressed we were.

On the witches trail came across this little gem popped in for lunch with wife brother in law and dog Max. We were greeted by a lovely young lady who made us very welcome, the inside had obviously just been refurbished to a high standard,...we all ordered different main meals and despite quite a wait due I would imagine the young lady running the bar/restaurant single handed were all faultless would definitely recommend in my opinion it's worth a wait if the food of high quality which this certainly was.

We recently ate here and enjoyed the food, so decided to return last evening. The orders were taken but the food was quite a while in arriving. What we saw was definitely poor quality and my partners chicken wrap was cold and inedible. We requested...vinegar for the chips, it never arrived. Staff were poorly trained as when we were asked if everything had been ok, my partners plate was almost untouched, he shrugged his shoulders and cleared the table. Running 2 pubs obviously is not fitting in well. Sadly we won’t be back.

visited here on a sunny Sunday, who had gone with our four young children and dogs of barrowford, we ran late, but the dame was friendly and understanding on the phone. when we arrived, we ordered from the vegetarian and vegan menu, which had some...loving options, we tried the miso tofu, tempura vegetables, hummus and pitta, beer broken banana blossoms goujons and a chopped mushroom and bead of wobbles, next to a vegetarian frying dinner. the food was delicious, cheap and our dog was allowed to join us in the restaurant. the service was fast and efficient. will definitely be visited again.

"have been driven to signs for this place several times, but never seen it; its actually not on emmott lane, so if they use sat nav, it will never find. it is actually located on hill lane (which connects to emmott lane). first impressions .very beautiful, looks warm and attracts from the outside; and the inner is also beautiful; fantastic huge lights hanging in an open shiny style conservatory. service was good; very friendly and helpful; good selection of food and drinks; in the rule a 4/5 evaluation so far. I do not eat meat so always expect a menu to be limited for me; without 3 fish dishes there were only 1 no meat choice persian courgette sound nice and around 5p short £16 I expected some substantial talk about disappointing what arrived, 1 culinary in half lengths cut on a brow of cousin and a dribble of some tasteless white sauce laid. I'm not cooking, but I could have rusted something exactly the same home for less than £5. we were a party of 4 and the other 3 had variable dishes. the battered haddock at £16.50 was in the ground fish and chips with exalted, even if it were from the local chippy it would be closer to £10. the 2 other main thing seemed reasonable price-performance ratio. I thought maybe we were unhappy with our choice of pornstars so we chose some puddings; again a 50/50 result. schwamm pudding costs 5p short £8 could have come from a £3 zinn. but the dark chocolate fondant was very nice, but cost 5p short £9 was too expensive. So, finally, she expects this place to pay the best price for very average food. I'm sorry, but I won't eat here again if I'm paying £32 for a pornstar and pudding it must be above average in taste / quality / size."
