Both ordered steak pie, what an enormous slab of pie, about 4 inch square and packed solid with meat, wow. Server very attentive, good speed at lunchtime.

Had a lovely family birthday meal, the food was excellent, the atmosphere very friendly and the staff very attentive, particularly the lovely Ellie on only her 2nd day. Will definitely return and recommend to all.

We had a lovely lunch here the food was very good the portions are big but we managed to eat everything. The service was good and the staff were friendly. I would recommend this pub for good meals and good service. It was reasonably priced.

Terrible terrible terrible After hearing raving reviews about Anne’s arm we decided to give it a try my first and second choice on the menu weren’t available so opt for the pork chops chips and seasonal vegetables. Well 2 burnt slices of pork scabby oven...

Not the first time I 've visited, Usually have a good experience, However, After their card machine experiencing difficulties and kept declining when using contactless, but fine using the Pin, Wouldn 't mind but the bar staff knocked my drink all over me as I was making... Voir le carte

Just had their wonderful small plate fish, (not small at all), very generous size with chips and mushy peas , and tartar sauce. £10.95 per person. The fish had such gorgeous thin crispy batter just melts in your mouth. We are pensioners and it was a delight. They have many more beautiful meals for the same price exceptional value and all plates looked delicious.. Thank you to all the staff serving us, and to the chef. Visited with my partner for a drink and ended up having a nibble we decided on the sharing platter reasonably priced at £13.95 and cauliflower wings the haring platter was easily enough for 4 this included chicken garlic mushrooms garlic bread onion rings and loaded homemade chips with chilli and cheese couldn’t recommend enough the staff were very attentive new landlord and lady were on site they have recently recorated the place very clean with a lovely selection of spirits draught and wines definitely worth a visit !

Came here for fathers day.Absolutely shocking, took ages to take order had to ask for this to be done, incorrect tables food sent to us left in front of my husband for 5 minutes the came back and asked if he had touched it as was the wrong table and moved the plate, waited another 20 mins for our meal the yorkshire puddings could of broke a window and the mash was SMASH..... the yorkshires were then replaced and these were exactly the same. Cabbage core thrown on plate along with the other dated veg. Advised one of the waitresses and she had no care in the world and looked straight through then got defensive. Some people.aee not made for front of house. The other waitresses were lovely. Voir le carte
