Thai food for western tastes. very nice and with a lot of choice.

Great little restaurant in a basement with a cozy feeling.Better to check with the staff if you have dietary requirements as for example one of the vegetarian dishes has oyster sauce in it ...

We went to Thai Basement after it was recommended in the guidebook of the cottage we were staying in. The food was amazing, portion sizes were spot on and service was good. It was a lovely meal to end our trip away.

beautiful little restaurant in the center of the city with delicious vegan options. I would like to take the prizes to know and check the one double as we were overloaded a few times (they were always happy to solve problems)

we enjoyed an unexpected dinner in this restaurant. the waiting staff were friendly and fast in their service. in portions was plentiful and the food we ordered was delicious, served hot and tasteful. a cozy place and busy with other satisfied customers, including another family, on Tuesday night. our sohn described the meal as brilliant, which for his fussy point is 5 star rating.

had the mixed starter for two, cellar sea bass, sticky rice, and pud thai delivered to our caravan site tonight. the woman who worked our order and delivered the food was kind and delivered everything on time. that was skrumbling and we both eat because of eating, because we didn't want to waste anything. even the simple carrot side salad was really delicious. the food was well presented, even though it was a farewell. we will eat there again.

Absolutely amazing food! Honestly one of my favourite restaurants. The lamb shanks are a must have being so tender with the perfect amount of spice. I highly recommend the duck tamarind and the duck spring rolls. Sweet and sour chicken and even the prawn crackers are to die for. Finish up with a banana cup cake or three to finish off an amazing meal. The staff are kind and all very cheerful with impeccablecustomer service. The restaurant is cosy and the lighting helps keep the perfect late dinner mood. All in all a wonderful place and even better people, extremely impressed.

we were very excited to eat here as we love all Thai foods. my parents wanted to pick up the farewell and didn't get a very warm welcome. they also forgot one of our courts they had to wait for. the apology was out of hand. the worst part, however, was our prawn pad thai that had a huh in it. 2 of our party are pescetaric, so it could not eat, despite this being, to share the court we had ordered. I actually ate some of that huh before I realized what I was angry when I wasn't eating a huh. the rest of the food was good, but that really overshadowed our meal. will never go back and warn people

my man and I discovered this place in august 2018, while I stayed in derbyshire for our one-year anniversary. it was recommended by the owners of the airbnb where we were, so I had a look at the menu to see how vegan friendly it looks, and the veggie menu looks really promising, so I gave them a call to check if they could supply and they could. we asked the waitress, which objects have no ice or diary in it, and I remember that the crispy aubergine court has in it, but most other things were vegan friendly. that was amazing! it was so delicious we couldn't decide what we liked best. from the memory we had the mushroom and cashew nut dish, the sweet and acidic tofu and the Thai green curry w...
