Starfish - Carte

Went in for a takeaway, we were completely ignored, waited a bit to give them a chance. Some body came in about 5 mins after us they came straight over to him asked what he wanted!!! Invisibility cloak maybe?? PS gave it one star because I couldn’t give it 0.

Met a,friend went to starfish what i had was awful and very salty some items were not available till after 12 a lot of staff have changed and also no details were took for contact and trace sorry wont be back to sit in again this place has really went downhill

Hadnt had fish and chips from here for years. You know when you go back somewhere with a great memory and you feel let down and dissappointed well not here. Still great fish and chips and good portion sizes. Easy to walk down from to the harbour and sit and eat looking at the boats. Voir le carte

We have used the Starfish many times when on holiday in the area. Food has always been great. This time had to walk out! Not prepared to purchase food in a takeaway where there seemed to be no measures to ensure staff and customers were protected from this dreadful virus. Shame loved the place!

I visited this restaurant a couple of days ago and had a terrible experience. The staff were unfriendly and there was no hand sanitizer available. They were also unprofessional, wearing jackets while working. Additionally, there was a lot of shouting and swearing among the staff. I will not be returning to this restaurant. I only rated it 1 star because I couldn't rate it any lower.

I would not recommend using this restaurant again. I purchased fish and chips from this establishment, but the fish tasted like ammonia and the chips seemed like leftovers, not fresh. The owner could benefit from some PR training as he was very aggressive. I had to ask one of his workers, who was putting a chair together, if everything was okay. Had lunch with four friends 3 off us ordered homemade lasagne and 1 fish tea not one of us ate the lasagne I complained that it was a dry we couldn’t eat it so my plate was taken away I went to pay and was charged for it all , I questioned this and the lady behind the till who’s customer service is nil not a nice person at all and then the manager owner) came and told me to get out and has barred me his customer care skills were atrocious will never recommend this place at all thank god they barred me

I visited Starfish with my family on Weds 26th of August at 5pm.We had booked online as it was listed on Eat out to help out . Myself, my daughter and adult Granddaughters were on holiday from Derby to visit family, all were present. We all had fish and chips... Worst ever... The chips were pale and some uncooked, the fish tasted nothing like cod and the batter was thick and rubbery. It would not cut and had to be torn apart!! The final insult was realising my daughter had been charged full price, not the 50% off as advertised. We will never go there again...!!

We arrived late after a long journey and were craving a meal. We ordered a jacket potato with filling and a pizza, both of which were delicious and cooked to perfection. The portions were generous and the staff even gave us a pizza box to take home the leftovers. Our server was efficient and kind. The drinks, including a pot of tea and coffee, were excellent - a rarity when dining out. Although we read some negative reviews, they seemed outdated - perhaps there has been a change in management. Regardless, we had nothing but positive things to say about the restaurant. Additionally, the prices were reasonable. Voir le carte
