"We stayed one night at the waterfront to catch ferry to Ireland next morning we were given a room suppose to be a double but was so small we could not pass one and other as the double bed took up most of the room and very small tv at first we could not see a bathroom until we realised it was in the cupboard which you could hardly fit into and to sit on the toilet you had to reverse in as the sink was in the way luckily we are not to large as you would never manage if you squeezed into the shower you would have to open the concertina doors to get some room to dry yourself I will say it was clean but definitely not fit for purpose the public bar is so small and uncomfortable we went next door to a much bigger pub restaurant I am very sorry but can not recommend this to anyone"

The menu outside displayed prices that were about £2 less per meal than what I was actually charged. It seems that they haven't updated the menus outside yet. Hmmmm.

Lovely stay at hotel although room bit small and toilet tiny . But spotlessly clean bedding , staff efficient and polite , breakfast was great , free to choose juice yogurts cereal fresh fruit then choice of cooked breakfast . Lots of toast and piping hot tea . Disgusted by the way we were treated at the waterfront Hotel today. After realising they were only serving a brunch menu at 2..40pm we said we 'd just have our drinks go. The chef then came out told the waitress to tell us to f off if not.eating the place was completely empty im not surprised! Actually sickened.

The cost for a one-person dinner, bed, and breakfast was the same as for two people. The rooms were small and in need of a good vacuuming around the edges. The television did not work and I was informed that the signal was poor and I had to deal with it. However, the bed was clean and the food was good. For the price, there are better hotels in Portpatrick.

Expected it to be a pub with food but happy to try. It’s more a hotel with a restaurant. Food was nice and well presented however young staff were too much involved with friends eating there, had to try to get attention to look at dessert menu, then try again to place an order for it. On a beautiful summer day, there are many dining options along the harbor in Portpatrick. I was intrigued by the unique menu at this restaurant and I'm glad I decided to try it. I found out that the menu had recently been updated, with the new selections being just a few weeks old. The friendly greeting I received was a great beginning; the bistro area inside was bright, modern, and well-organized. The server was pleasant and knowledgeable about the dishes, and everything was beautifully presented and cooked perfectly.

We spent a couple of days in Portpatrick and booked for the waterfront. However we were given an attic room in another property which was outside and along a lane from the hotel.it was abysmal with loose was basin taps and toilet systern handle loose. We were banging our head getting out of bed and going to the dresser was the same. The breakfast was very bad the first morning with rock hard bacon and a soft blob of haggis and the rest was eatable ,just. The service was slow. It was better the next morning with scrambled eggs which was ok. However we had to go outside the property and walk down the lane to the hotel for breakfast.
