Had a love meal for a family get together everyone said the meal was really nice but the room was freezing which needs looking at unless custom will not return

Visited with friends had a lovely roast beef Sunday dinner, the red cabbage was beautiful and a delicious cheesecake for dessert! Service a little slow but it was busy! Would go again!! Voir le carte

Lovely food and lovely atmosphere.. staff are lovely. Highly recommended. Fish and chips is lovely and big portions With home made tarter sauce. They also make a cracking passion fruit martini!

Visited on a fairly quiet Monday evening and was blown away by the whole experience. Quality food, lovely and relaxed atmosphere and quick and friendly service shone through at Stamford Gate. I would strongly recommend the steak pie and the banoffee sticky toffee pudding. I can’t recommend enough!

Last night 18 members of our car club attended the Stamford Gate Hotel for our Christmas Meal. A warm and friendly atmosphere was enjoyed by all. The service was great and nicely spaced out, the food was served quickly and was lovely and piping hot and clean plates were seen all round…..always a sign of good food! Voir le carte

Celebrated an auntie's 90th birthday with buffet for 25 people in early October 2023. She had previously been for her 80th celebration dinner. Buffet was excellent, especially the very good sandwiches. The staff who arranged the details with us were efficient and very pleasant. The staff who looked after us on the day were very good too. Nothing too much trouble despite it being a very busy day for the restaurant. Lovely event for us.

From the very start I was made to feel welcome, I met the owner he was really friendly and you can tell he is passionate about his business you can sit down and have a chat with him all the staff are very polite and helpful and make special arrangements to park my coach over night whilst staying in the hotel I will be back at some point outside of business with my partner for a holiday you guys are great! Visited this place a few times as it’s one of the restaurants in our village it’s really welcoming and the staff are fantastic. Food is great, menu could vary a bit more especially on Sundays as if you don’t fancy a roast the options seem to be limited to just a few other mains, but you have to appreciate the food is fresh which more than makes up for it. Desserts are always changing which is nice the biscoff cheesecake was definitely a winner! Really recommend a visit and the booth tables are really comfy and nice. Voir le carte
