"Five families, 21 of us in total were camping at Sandwich Technology College for the bank holiday weekend. We left it a bit late on the booking front but fortunately St Crispin Inn could accommodate us. We were so pleased they did, as it worked...out brilliantly. They were great as they had to jiggle the seating plan too, as we added two more people to our number late on. (thank you for your patience Jason We found a path, off the road, that took us to the pub in 20 minutes. St Crispin Inn had put us in our own room to the side, which I'm sure the other patrons were glad of! We were emailed the menus beforehand and had sent back our chosen mains. There was a great variety to pick from, including roasts, ribs, fish and chips and burgers. There were vegetarian options too, a vegetable tart roast and the halloumi burgers, which were delicious. All the food came out quickly and the presentation and portions were impressive. The service we had was fantastic, our large number didn't seem to phase them at all. I didn't get everyone's names but a big thanks to Liam! So to summarise, pretty location, very accommodating, brilliant friendly service and fantastic food. We couldn't have asked for more, we were very happy campers! Thank you!"

The garlic bread is to die for. We had butter running down our chins The main course was huge. We were willingly provided with a doggy bag to take home with us. An extra bonus is the parrot who lives in an enormous cage in...another room.

Without doubt good cooking, atmosphere and service of the highest order. Have always been happy with our previous visits, but this meal was outstanding. Congratulations and thanks for the best start to this Christmas period , to all the staff

I had a wonderful time visiting this restaurant with my family. We even attended a birthday celebration and everything was great overall. The only suggestion I have is to possibly consider personalizing the service for future events. I will definitely be returning to enjoy another visit. Voir le carte

I always enjoy this pub. The atmosphere is great and the service is excellent. The food is also delicious. It's unfortunate that they have stopped serving crumb due to its popularity. All of the desserts are homemade. We are planning to come back in the fall for a weekend of walking and plenty of beer!

The staff are friendly but not gushingly subservient as some reviewers here seem to expect. It is a pub that is as attrative inside as out. A large garden, ample off street parking and most importantly, very dog friendly while a vocal pet parrot entertains...the dogs. The food was better than was expected given that this is a pub and not a gastronomic palace, the portions far too large to enable a cleared plate. The starters are varied and well prepared and Sunday lunch was excellent. We ate in the main bar as we had two dogs with us and these were made as welcome as were we. The separate restaurant was full as were table accomodation in the bar. Thoroughly recommended and a destination for...

We chose this pub as we had heard good things but unfortunately we were left disappointed by the food and service. Being a Sunday we all chose to order roast dinners (despite not knowing a price as it wasn't on the menu). These came out...surprisingly fast and were very warm but not hot. The parsnips and roast potatoes were overcooked, however the cabbage and carrots were undercooked. Cannot comment on dessert as we decided not to order any. The staff members varied between being attentive and smiley and looking like they really didn't want to be there. We were also disappointed to find that there were no baby changing facilities and we had to change our baby in the boot of our car! Prices w... Voir le carte

We came for lunch and were greeted by a friendly waitress who took our drink and food orders. We all had chicken burgers and ribs, which were very nice. However, the positive experience ends here. The older lady who cleared our table and offered us desserts was very rude. She came back with the dessert board and mentioned that they had a busy weekend, so there were only a few options left. This comment was unnecessary and the way it was said was impolite. We ordered desserts (Eton mess and chocolate fudge cake) and tea. The cutlery and tea were placed haphazardly on the table. The dessert cutlery consisted of a fork and a dirty spoon. When I asked for a clean spoon, I was given one without a...

We hadn’t booked so just called in, so they were not that busy. We didn’t think the choice was good but not bad, my husband had a special which was ok, I had warm chunks of Brie with cranberry sauce, the sauce was a runny...sauce. Which I have never seen, it is always a sauce you can see what it is. I had tomato brushetta, for my mains, which was served on French bread with more onion chutney than tomato, it wasn’t a dish I enjoyed, I have had quite a lot of this dish in other places and this wasn’t how I would see a tomato brushetta, and you have advised it on Facebook today as part of your menu and it looks nothing like I had, which I think I had about 3 halves of cherry tomatoes. Hubby ha...
