The art in gastronomy today is to keep the quality for years and to surprise the guests again and again. The Schlegel family dominates this art, so we always like to come back.

what a night dinner on Saturday evening, a culinary experience, the service very, very attentive and friendly; the spa in the basement, the whole establishment lovingly and original – and the Schlegels wonderful hosts who have been to our side even when we were no longer their guests, i.e. after paying the bill, even with the best advice for a wonderful hike on Sunday. Recommended!

Beautifully idyllic and a dream in golden autumn. Small fine and family hotel. Upon arrival you will receive a warm welcome. The sunset in the magnificent garden, what do you want more? Beautiful rooms with modern bathrooms. Very friendly people everywhere. The restaurant is just a pleasure. The menu small, but super fine. And the food is excellent. We didn't have such a nice holiday for a long time..tolles ambience, a great atmosphere at eating on the orchard and at our favorite place at breakfast. The staff and also the food: better it is not. Thanks to the Schlegel family they have an absolutely great team and the kitchen has not only earned a star! we will definitely come back. Our secret tip: crustnuts, mullet and ice cream with pumpkin crown and pumpkin oil...... a dream

We were there for lunch after the celebration of the 1st Communion of our nephew. The food was delicious. They serve regionall food. Very good quality as well as the service. The waitresses and waiters are very attentive. They are really nice. The ambiente is traditional modern and looks fine. Children are welcome. You can enjoy local beverages like wine or beer. It was marvellous. I can recommend it. Hope to be there one more time.

sitting out there in the summer. it doesn't really need anymore. the card is manageable, the preparation is impeccable. recommended was a sauvignon blanc from South Africa: surprisingly very good! my companions had doradenfilet with a lobster sauce with a little saffron. I guess that tasted heavenly. small critique: my lamb hexle was so tender that a sharper knife would have been useful to cut the meat across the structure... but if nothing else is missing!

my wife and I spent two nights in the hotel and took dinner there and breakfast to us. the breakfast buffet is relatiw small, but high quality and equipped with rich, high quality ingredients. the atmosphere is extremely pleasant. for dinner, the same applies. outstanding quality, extremely well prepared - with a salad offering that tops everything I have experienced so far. rich, loving, fresh and delicious. with the service and the friendly climate that prevails in the schlegelhof all-in-one, we were completely satisfied. not only will we come back, but also around a stay at the schlegelhof, we will also build hiking and sport activities - simply because we have an ideal starting point her...

The Schlegelhof is located in Burg Höfen, a district of Kirchzarten in a quiet location. From small beginnings, this house, now managed in the second generation, has developed into a small, manageable hotel with excellent cuisine. 11 rooms are available for overnight stays, whether travellers or holidaymakers; in the house there is a small but fine spa; Cosmetic and massage treatments are offered here. The restaurant is furnished in rural style with modern elements and a large window front offers the view free from the surrounding Black Forest Mountains.
