"Service schleppend, aber freundlich, allerdings ist eine Nachbestellung schwierig. Pizza nichts besonderes. Warum der Gast zum zahlen zum Chef muss, verstehe ich nicht. Gasthaus war quasi leer, Gartenwirtschaft 4 Tische belegt."

"The Schlegelhof is a revelation. Ms. ubier gets shiny eyes when the name is called. First it sounds banal to chicken roasts. So, what would be quite predictable in the sleepy corner in the district courtyards of Kirchzarten. In fact, however, the name derives from the family name of the operators. The Schlegels run restaurant and hotel earlier as a modest pension already in the second generation, the third is already recognizable gastroaffin... From modest beginnings as a village inn, the Schlegelhof has developed into a model operation. Year after year, both the gastronomy and the hotel are expanded, modernized and more attractive. All in one of the top locations in the Dreisam valley with a view of Black Forest and flowering meadows that can replace a full holiday week. The inn was gently opened in the southwest, you sit behind floor-covering windows in the green. The adjacent conservatory also offers plenty of fresh air and an inspiring view of nature. You can also sit in the garden under old trees on scattered tables and enjoy the atmosphere even more directly. Children have space and equipment to play without disturbing the other guests. And they like to come not just because of the look. Martin Schlegel is a pardoned cook. The Baden-Baden Spagat between traditional dishes and upscale gastronomy is perfectly dominated. Both the standard card and the season menus as well as the daily recommendations show old acquaintances in surprising and convincing variations. I look forward to crumbs with Macadamianus chest, dried fruit cover and Potato Sellerielasagne. Even small trips to Asian cuisine do not contradict the feeling of swimming life. Always a pleasure is the curry coconut soup with lemongrass, ginger and roasted scalopp. A beautifully structured wine card must not leave any wishes open. I don't think I'm getting warm with the sommelier, but his recommendations were always good. The service is very dedicated and attentive, but certainly a merit of Mrs Schlegel, who is leading her proven team sovereignly. The ambience in the guest rooms is dominated by natural softwood, without into the rustic. Clear form language, modern lines and generous table areas let the guest arrive and enjoy relaxed. Ms. ubier's eyes shine again, I think I better order a table on the window..."

"Travelling back from holiday we stopped overnight at a local hotel. Not being too excited with their menu we ventured out and stumbled across Ouzeria. The majority of the tables had been pre-booked but we were offered a choice of those remaining and had a...nice window seat. Menu's only in German but the waiter translated as best he could in his broken English. We settled for the house specials which were the Greek version of kebab. The plates came on which were an assortment of meats all beautifully cooked and seasoned, a helping of tzatziki and some pitta bread. It was very good, and the price was very reasonable as well. Shame i do not think i will be in the area again but cannot recommend highly enough."

"Zufällig sind wir mit drei Familien im Gasthaus Lindenmatte gelandet. Alle -auch die Kinder- wurden in der abwechslungsreichen Karte von gut-bürgerlich bis afghanisch schnell fündig. Alle Gerichte,von Käsespätzle über Salate bis zu den afghanischen Spezialitäten, waren von sehr guter Qualität. Jedes Gericht wartete mit faszinierenden Finessen und Aromen auf. Die afghanischen Gerichte glichen einem Feuerwerk der Aromen, aber selbst die frittierten Bratkartoffeln mit einem Knoblauch-Kräuterdip konnten begeistern. Zum guten Schluss müssen wir auf das exzellente Preisleistungsverhältnis hinweisen. Wir kommen wieder!Die besten Restaurants in meiner Nähe"

"Guten Morgen liebe Leser, am gestrigen Abend ging ich mit meiner Familie, mit 4 Kindern (2 davon noch sehr klein), zu diesem Restaurant und wir haben uns drinnen neben der Tür niedergelassen, wo praktisch jeder Kellner dran vorbeigegangen ist. Zwanzig Minuten warteten auf einen Kellner. Nachdem die kleinen Kinder lauter wurden, beschwerten wir uns, woraufhin ein Kellner kam. Für zwei Flaschen Wasser und 3 Drinks hatte das Personal ganze 20 Minuten gebraucht! Dabei fehlte eine Flasche und auf die Bitte, ob man schon schnell eine Flasche Wasser bringen könnte, da die Kleinen Durst hatten, wurde entgegnet, dass man chronologisch arbeite. Danach warteten wir 54!!! Minuten auf das Essen. Wir beschwerten uns erneut und man meinte, dass wir doch erst seit 30 Minuten warteten. Jetzt kommt der Knaller: Laut hat das Personal bei der Bar über uns gelästert und unser Verhalten als inakzeptabel bezeichnet. Jedenfalls kam dann der Koch und brachte das Essen. Er sagte dann:“ Für die Ungeduldigen!“ und wurde wieder frech. Das ist unprofessionell und äußerst kindisch. Man sollte doch etwas empathisch sein! Sie wollten aber noch einen draufsetzen… Das Essen war unvollständig und nach 20 Minuten voll Rätseln, was die Übrigen bestellt hätten, fragte man zwei meiner Verwandten: „Haben sie nichts bestellt?“ Jedenfalls erhielten sie dann nach 20 Minuten ihr Essen. Das Essen war fabelhaft und sehr köstlich, das muss man lassen. Der Service begann danach auch etwas freundlicher zu werden, das merkte man. Fazit: Grauenhafter und unfreundlicher Service, extrem lange Wartezeiten und gutes essen"
