Rump And Wade - Menu

Always enjoyed food here. Forgot to pre order but they did us an Xmas meal anyway . Always visit on Xmas eve. Food was lovely friendly staff too.

Today we went for Sunday Lunch at Rump Wade and the meal was excellent, also the waitress Ruby was such a sweet young lady and so helpful, and an asset to your company!

We were on a one-off visit and it was an unexpected delight! Great cosy atmosphere, lovely food and charming staff, especially Dickie who was easy-going and efficient, all at the same time. Will definitely go again if over that way.

Food is nice, but a but you pay a bit more that you'd expect for what it is. Service was alright but the table was left for too long and had to go and ask for the bill, wasn't asked for anything else after being...served the food,wenr somewhere else for a second round of coffee

Recently, I’ve had the pleasure of Brunch, Sunday Lunch, and Christmas menu, and every time it’s been brilliant. Great food , great ambiance, great staff , particularly Kate, Rich and the rest of the team Afternoon tea also great at the Cromwell, and you even...get in house entertainment from Jordan !

Was in the area and had never visited before, popped in for a quick drink, bar area was nice, service friendly and quick, good choice of drinks and reasonably priced. Nice seating areas, staff found us a chair, toilets are very nice and clean, restaurant...is well designed and classy. Good atmosphere in here.

I went with friends for Afternoon Tea which was really nice. The sandwiches were very tasty and the scones and cakes were really fresh and there was a nice mixed selection. We also had prosecco which was very nice too. All of the staff were...extremely friendly and professional and we had a really nice time. I have been several times for Afternoon Tea and have had a lovely experience every time. Thoroughly recommended.

On Wednesday night myself , my wife and friends celebrated one of the party's Retirement. My wife and I had not been out since February of last year when we dined at the same venue. We were very pleased to be seated in clean,...comfortable and uncrowded surroundings. The staff could not have been more pleasant and attentive and checked our satisfaction at every stage. Although the Menu had changed substantially since last year, the quality of the food was very good. Our steaks were cooked to perfection !

Regular date night venue for me and my husband pre pandemic and the food has always been fantastic. time back there for an early dinner two days ago. I ordered goats cheese and beetroot focia and my husband ordered pork chops. When the food...arrived we were thoroughly underwhelmed. My goats cheese sandwich looked like an undercooked Victoria sponge cake, the fries were underdone and it came with a ramekin of crisps. Onion rings didn't arrive either. The pork was however completely inedible. The fat was uncooked and the meat was overcooked and dry, did not have any hint of the glazed' stated on the menu (think hospital food type appearance).
