"We popped in here for a quick coffee break after a long walk but from the moment we arrived it was obvious from the look on the woman’s face that we were not likely to receive a friendly welcome. I wished I had looked at the previous reviews before entering as we were clearly not the only customers to receive poor service. When we asked for jam and cream with our scones the lady seemed quite ‘put out’ and begrudgingly brought a small pot of jam for the children but no cream note the £3.25 is for a scone with butter only and it’s more with jam . It always puzzles me why people like this go into business serving the public when they clearly don’t appear to enjoy it. Shame as it would have been a nice place to go back to but we will not be returning."

The all day breakfast is good value. However, during our visit notice the china was stained. Also the toilet hand dryer was useless.

Fantastic! The service, food, and atmosphere were all impeccable. Very professional. Even a simple dish like toast was probably the best thing I've ever eaten. My family also enjoyed their meals. Thank you.

Ok ish English breakfast but have no idea what spread was on the toast. It was awful. Black pudding sliced so thinly I could almost see through it. Minuscule so called “mug” of tea and the unfriendliest woman serving. Won’t be back.Toilet and sink were NOT clean!! Wish I hadn’t eaten there.

We have visited Hunstanton many times and this is the worst place we have ever visited.1. Miserable/rude waitress2. Filthy china, coffee and tea hideous.3. Food was even worse...presented like airline food but not even as tasty!4. Cheap but we know why! Go anywhere else, you would struggle to fund worse.

We visited, my husband had breakfast and I had a warm baguette filled with thick bacon. The lady who served us was very friendly and had a chat about Hunstanton and general chit chat. We were served quickly. We both enjoyed our breakfast. We are back at the end of the month and will be going back to try dinner, they have a nice varied menu.

We went in for just a coffee and scone. The women serving had a face like a smacked bum.Gentleman was more pleasant. I asked for syrups for hot chocolate. ‘No’ I had warm tap water. We had a scone each. 20 minutes afterwards still have the baking powder dryness. No offer of jam. The latte was weak and tasteless. We weren’t in Hunstanton for long so hope other places are better.

There are many good places to eat in Hunstanton, this is absolutely not one of them ! The food was served warm not hot, It had clearly not all been cooked fresh, but had been done in advance kept under a heat lamp, so tasted horrible. The service was very poor, the china disgusting the owner was extremely rude when I tried to complain. Overall it was a thoroughly unpleasant experience.

Very disappointing. Myself, my boyfriend and his parents went to this restaurant for some lunch, however we did not stay. I asked the lady if they had any gluten free options and she was VERY rude and unhelpful. The fact they don’t have gluten free options is ok as unfortunately restaurants like these who are not with the modern times do not cater for everyone. But it was her attitude and how unhelpful she was that made us leave. Do yourself a favour and go down the road to The Terrace who catered for gluten free, had lovely food, and had friendly staff. (Come out of the restaurant and go right, continue down the road and then cross the street).

"My wife and I stayed here for a few days to celebrate my birthday. We chose Titchwell Manor due to its location on the A149. From here we can catch the Coasthopper up or down the coast. The bus stops are 100 metres outside the hotel. We were greeted in the car park and shown to our room behind the hotel. We had Basil number 21. It is a large comfortable room, with walk in shower and the fluffiest towels we have ever had. The room was very well heated and the bed was very comfy. Breakfast was served from a civilised 8am. The plate of fresh fruit was really good. If you choose to have you eggs poached they will be the most perfect you will ever have with their lovely orange yokes. The rest of the components were equally good and served with leaf tea or great coffee. The bars each had a lovely roaring log fire, where we enjoyed a drink before our meal. The menu choices we made were ham hock, brioche piccalilli and burnt apple purée followed by venison, Jerusalem artichoke and rainbow kale. The other choice was marinated beetroot, basil pesto and goats cheese cream followed by salt baked celeriac, sage and onion with crispy kale. Both meals were outstanding. The venison was very tender and the celeriac was outstanding. On the basis of this dish, a very under stated vegetable. Service was very good and served at a speed we dictated without the continual pestering we have experienced elsewhere. We will definitely come back here as the whole stay was a great experience."
