Great venue for just about anything, something a cut above the rest, good food, a jug of pims £20, not unreasonable, room 16 was simply beautiful. Excellent staff.

Just stayed for our 4th visit location and breakfast good. Don't stay in room 23 a lot of noise from kitchen below fans going until late and loud music when the head chef had a day off used to be quiet in the past

We have been the lodge o. Old Hunstanton a number of times and decided to try here too. We had a lovely dog friendly lunch with a friendly welcome. The carrot and coriander soup was lovely. Would definitely recommend a visit. Voir le carte

Great hotel, restaurant and childrens outdoor playground. Bonus we could take the dog too. Food was delicious, limited vegetarian options. Kids food was great and they even eat free weekdays. As it was half term, Friday and weather not good was surprisingly quiet, you need to visit, venue is really nice too. We had one lovely server, friendly and helpful. Free onsite parking.

Initially a small group of us with a couple of kids arrived to have lunch, we were joined by another six people so in all. The location, garden, facilities were perfect for our requirements and we dined outside.It was sometimes difficult to find a member of staff for service, otherwise I would give an excellent rating. When found, they were excellent. We chose a range of food options, from sharers, to starters and main courses. All the food we had was nicely cooked, well presented and of good portions.The garden area is very large, met some other nice visitors and had an enjoyable afternoon. Voir le carte

We have stayed at Briarfields many times over the years, as love the hotel, staff and cleanliness etc, but always just before Christmas. So whilst holidaying in a cottage a few minutes away in the Summer thought we would visit for dinner. As always we weren't disappointed. We both enjoyed Sweetcorn and Onion Pakoras as our starters. Followed by the most delicious Butter Chicken Thigh Curry served with a Chapatti. Ordered a side of Jasmine Rice, which it did need and thought could have been served as part of the main, rather than paying extra. I really like this establishment, we’ve Been a few times once for breakfast, which was really good! Once for a bank holiday event just for drinks and today for lunch. The food was good but not great, kedgaree arancini were good, chicken wings dry as well as the onion bargi burger. The steak was cooked well but unfortunately had grissle running all the way through it. The blueberry meringue was good, the brown sugar tart wasn’t to our liking/ strange texture and the triffle was nice. Stayed for two nights in a deluxe room with my dogs. The room was lovely and comfortable and the bathroom had a fantastic freestanding bath so felt very luxurious. Treats and a dog walk map were provided for the dogs. There is a big field next to the hotel for exercising dogs which is a great idea. You can walk to Brancaster beach easily too.This is a truly dog friendly hotel! There's also a big play area if staying with children. Breakfast each morning was excellent and plentiful. We ate in the restaurant both nights and the food was great. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming.
