"Lovely country pub,called in for Sunday roast as seen advert in comet paper. Friendly staff but unfortunately the food let's the pub down.Turkey was dry,beef was tough,green beans were mushy and the BROCCOLI FLORETS were turning yellow which means they are on there way out,let...alone end up on someone's plate. The only thing I enjoyed about our visit was the nice can of cold Coke. Sorry for this bad review but hopefully it will improve your chefs knowledge on fresh vegetables. Will try Green Man on next visit ."

Very quite pub with producers really good food, I cannot wait to go back. I would recommend the steak and ale pie which came with REAL home made chips

Great value for money and very cheap over meals and the small back garden is a sun trap and there are many other outside tables at the side and front. I will go back very soon.

Always a friendly quality service from these Folk whether you're dining or just having a drink. Not easy during these mad times! I think they really go the extra mile for their customers.

Had lunch here the choice and food was excellent service good it was, friendly atmosphere, I have known this pub for many years having lived in the area, l no longer live local so was interested to see what it looked like and to sample...the food on offer, l was not disappointed.
