"I wanted to meet a friend from Essex, we were coming from Bicester, so I dropped a pin in the middle and then did a search for places to eat nearby and found The Cricketers. Had a quick scout of their website and decided it looked like a really lovely place to head for lunch and i certainly wasn’t wrong. The food was delicious, the service was spot on, nothing was rushed, nothing was too much and they were all so friendly, plus there were plenty of them. There was a lovely atmosphere and we all really enjoyed meeting up here. Thank you for being so welcoming and allowing us to just eat, chill and chat until it was time to go."

Food let you down. My pizza crust was not cooked. Fish batter was over cooked as too thin strips halloumi which could have been cut thicker and cooked less.

Evie served us and was excellent. It was a busy bank holiday and she made sure we received everything we needed quickly and with a smile on her face. Food was tasty too. Thanks Evie!

Gluten-free options are clearly marked on the main menu. Gluten-free pizzas are cooked in a separate oven, and the chips are fried in a dedicated fryer. However, please note that the Sunday roast is not labeled as gluten-free. Voir le carte

Booked a table in the Pavilion, but seated in the bar. Had to serve ourselves, no table service. Staff were polite and helpful but we did not get what we booked for. Prices same for both areas, we were prepared to be disappointed from previous experiences, they did not let us down!!!

This charming rural pub doesn't have a separate gluten-free menu, but there are several options available on the regular menu, including desserts. The bread was good and the burger was delicious. The steak also looked impressive. I didn't experience any negative effects, so I assume they are careful about cross contamination.
