"We went to this restaurant for Sunday lunch to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It was our first time dining there and we will definitely be returning. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. For starters, I had salt and pepper calamari, followed by roast lamb as my main course. It was served with a variety of seasonal vegetables, roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, stuffing, and a side of cauliflower cheese to share. My husband had the roast beef. For dessert, we enjoyed the crunchie cheesecake. We thoroughly enjoyed all of our dishes and look forward to returning to try more options from the full menu, as we have heard great things about it."

Took 95 year old mother in law for birthday meal. Attractive decor, food lovely, option of small portions very welcome. Service was fast and efficient. Would definitely go again.

My partner and I visited the restaurant last night. The service was excellent and although the menu was limited, it was very appropriate. The quality and portion size of the food were impeccable. We felt very welcome and it was definitely worth the visit.

Visited this Pub restaurant without booking, No problem for 6.00pm on a Saturday. We both had Fish and Chips, 1 large and 1 smaller. Excellent fish portions, way too many chips. Only complaint was not a lot of choice on real ales. Otherwise excellent, with attentive staff.

This was our first proper visit after lockdown, although we regularly had some amazing take ways during this horrible time….. Service was polite, efficient and friendly… the food is proper pub food, well cooked nicely presented and fantastic portion sizes, It’s also good value for money,…

We visit here on a regular basis for drinks and have recently been having roast dinners on a Sunday as we saw how tasty they looked one week. Beautifully cooked meat, fresh veg cooked perfectly, homemade Yorkshire’s and tasty crispy roast potatoes, lovely and attentive staff. Highly recommend to give a go.

The positives Fresh guiness and reasonably priced. Negatives Not covid secure. They were more than happy for us to stand and order at bar (against government guidelines) but as soon as we innocently did not follow one way system a rude bar manager moaned. I don't mind being told off but she turned a blind eye to all the locals drinking in groups of 6+

This was our first visit to the restaurant and they allowed us to run a tab. They have a great selection of whiskeys (we tried most of them) and their burgers were superb and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly, efficient, and attentive. Despite the 0-0 draw, we had an excellent night and even the other patrons were friendly and chatty. We will definitely be back. Thank you.
