I was very impressed with this restaurant. They have a great selection of beer and food at reasonable prices. The outdoor area is also very nice and definitely worth checking out.

I didn't actually go into the pub, however you got a very homely feel the minute you step near it; friendly locals and a pretty nice looking menu. Just what you would expect from a sam Smith pub.

Despite the factory food the cook does a great job and staff are always welcoming and the place clean. A good 'local ' or a place to visit if you 're from elswhere and much better food than the posh place otherside of the By-Pass. Voir le carte

This place is a bit of a find! It's one of the most welcoming and friendly public houses I've ever visited proprietors Sue and Dave are wonderful, genuine and honest people nothing is too much trouble. This is a place you will want to return to again and again!

I recently visited this restaurant with my husband and friends for dinner and drinks. It is a very welcoming establishment that I would highly recommend. The cozy bar has an open fire and serves excellent food. I also appreciate that they have a designated area where we can bring our dog along.

From the telephone call to take the table reservation, through the ordering of the me to the meal on the table everything was right about this restaurant. Cosy atmosphere, friendly staff, tasty food. Called in for lunch on a wet Wednesday. Cheery hosts and a cosy welcoming pub with real fires. We had liver and onions which came with creamy mash, Savoy cabbage, broccoli and gorgeous onion gravy followed by homemade blackberry and apple crumble and custard. Fantastic food, reasonably priced. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend.

We loved this pub! What a great find. It's about a 25 minute walk from Rudding Holiday park, so perfect if you are staying there. We went for lunch, and we weren't disappointed. The meals were lovely, freshly cooked and the chef very accommodating when we asked for variations. The landlady was extremely welcoming and could not do enough for us. We went with 4 young children and a dog in tow, and nothing was too much trouble The drinks are very reasonably priced too, we will definitely be going back.

We went here for an early dinner. It was very quiet, but we went for it anyway. The bartender/server was very pleasant and accommodating. The prices were reasonable, but the reason was the product line was minimal and mediocre. When a glass of Chardonnay was asked for we were told that “the brewery only sends us one white and one red” and he had no idea what they were. That’s pretty sad. The food was all microwaved and whilst it was not bad, it was not heated evenly. Simply put get your act together. It should be so much better. Voir le carte
