We purchased a takeaway yesterday and although we've been to this Indian restaurant for numerous years, it's always been cooked to the highest of standards and as usual, last night's was superb . When I arrived, it took less than 5 mins to collect and leave. You just can't beat this restaurant for food and service

I've used Purbani for 35 YRS and now live in another country,but when I visit home I always make sure I visit Purbani ,top quality food and service , Muhammad Imran and the team running a great place,without doubt the best Indian/Bangladesh style food in Hampshire if not the country ,somewhere I always enjoy to taste the delights Voir le carte

Passing through Botley we took the recommendation of our hotelier to try the Purbani. What an eatery! It is comfortable and intimate, with a great choice of old favourites and some less we known dishes. Beautiful naan bread, hot food and great service. I had the jhal ghost, a very punchy curry if you like it that way and I did. All highly recommended. Thank you.

What a curry my wife and I had in here a few months back. We got a lovely seat by the window and the food and drinks were delicious. I couldn’t fault the staff either. All very attentive and polite. Botley is lucky with all the good places to eat or drink and this is one of them for anyone that loves curry. Never had a takeaway from here yet. Will be getting one soon.

I never leave reviews but had to for this place..: Genuinely the best curry around, I’m really fussy and so ask for no chicken in my curry just sauce and I ask for my tikka to be hotter and it wins every time never ever had a bad curry in the 2 years we have been going. We drive 15 mins each way for a takeaway most weekends. The garlic chilli chicken is also bloody amazing, always tastes so fresh. It never has that horrible oil layer over the top and isn’t a thin watery curry. I can’t rate it enough. Voir le carte
