Waited for roughly 30 minutes, and no one came to take our order. We asked the waiter if we can order on two occasions, yet he was "too busy" to even reply.. one waiter for the entire restaurant. Shame

The days " Lammcaré " was in fact one of the best I ever have taste,, Not exclusive in the way it was served on the plate, but as tasteful as you could ever wish !!! Friendly waiter and a small outside place in the street. Good wine and free water,,,

We where there for lunch on Sunday. The restaurant was bustling. For starters we had shrimp in spicy garlic sauce and sauteed mushrooms. Great. The we had veal liver with salvia and butter, delicious and at 16€ a bargain. Friendly staff, we will come again Voir le carte

This is a good Italian restaurant in the center of the "old town", easily accessible. They offer a wide choice of Italian fare at low prices. The quality of the food is good, the waiters offer a fast service. At lunch time they offer a menu of the day with some special offers.

If you are looking for an original tasteful Italian pizza which is baked in an authentic stone oven, then this is your "ristorante". Prices are reasonable. Location is in the old town ("Altstadt") of Düsseldorf but not in the main tourist area. All in all you can enjoy a decent good quality Italian meal in this restaurant. Would for sure come again. :-)

Very popular as we watched them turn dozens of people away - so you need to book. Even at 1830 hrs on a Saturday!We shared the anti pasta -tasty but mainly veg, no prawns or salami. We all then had pizza's which were truly excellent.The downside was unfortunately the service. We hadn't seen each other for some months so were happy drinking and chatting (2.5 hrs for the four of us ....starter and main course ) but two of the tables near the door waited for ages. There was 6 of us for dinner. First impressions, dirty and 2 members of staff smoking in the kitchen. Ordered minestrone for starter. I got Brussels sprouts,green beans and carrot in a veg stock. (It was clear and not red, no pasta in it)waiting about 40 minutes for 3 starters (2 soups and an antipasti) antipasti came with no bread or meat. Main course the lamb came with potatoes that weren't cooked. Prawns that were like rubber and smelt off. Carbonara tasted like macaroni cheese. No one else was in restaurant apart from us and what looked like the staff and family having a big dinner and popping into the kitchen to smoke instead of going outside. I had a dinner with friends and we had a reservation. when we arrived, the table was not ready, although some were free. we ordered 4 pizzas and a meat dish and waited for almost an hour. I asked if I had. pizza with mozzarella instead of Gouda cheese (I have no problems to pay for it extra) but I was told that they do not use mozzarella. I'm sorry, but if they are an Italian restaurant (and they are, because the personal is Italian) and they don't even have mozzarella, they abuse the adjectiv italian I asked for a dessert and it wasn't available, not because it sold out, but simply because they didn't do it this day. the restaurant is very small and therefore too loud. we couldn't talk. pos...

We visited a museum in Dusseldorf and used the occasion to revisit our preferred restaurant there. Our reasons are that it is Italian, it predominantly offers fresh seafood, and the personnel are helpful, particularly when recommending dishes that take into account my wife's dietary requirements.We had a great mixed platter as appetizer and then both took fish based on the restaurant's daily catch offer. While my wife opted for the salmon, I chose the monkfish which was prepared in a really excellent house recipe sauce (can't remember the name).I am more than ever convinced that, while the restaurant has no pretention to vie with the best restaurants in town, it offers one of the best value...
