"It was a very nice experience. The place was friendly. Not too busy as i like it. They don’t have a regular menu so you chose from the blackboard. There was not a massive selection. However, i had a burger and the best chips I think I have ever had. Lovely serving and homely atmosphere."

We just called in for a drink. Staff were very friendly. No menus available. Different meals cooked each day. I prefer to know what the choice is. Lovely old pub.

We had food and drink here today as a family. The food was fantastic, the staff were all very friendly, and the pub is a lovely traditional pub with a family atmosphere.

Visited for a family meal of 8 for Sunday roast. Every dish was luke warm or cold. Still waiting for the horse radish to arrive. Good selection of drinks but flat lemonades. Very friendly staff but slow service.

We returned for Sunday roast and this visit was even better than the last. Lovely home-cooked traditional roast and generous servings with all the trimmings (gluten free also catered for)Highly recommend the rack of lamb. We’ll be back!
