"we have been customers for years and have never been disappointed. the quality and quantity of meal times have never changed, nor has the ease of the staff. the choice of cold entrees is good, the menu offers for every taste. seasonal variations (e.g. truffle season., sparing season) offer the regular new discoveries. the owner and his wife are mostly present and guarantee a warm welcome. most guests are from the surroundings of the city part, a good residential area of Freiburg, and the tram stop is close. the prices are average and honest. we are pleased to have a constantly good Italian restaurant in Freiburg, which differs from the tourist sites in the center and I would say that the pizzas could not be better, thinner, crusty teig, and good mozzarella cheese as toppings. the desserts could be a bit more interesting, although the tiramisu is pretty good."

Reihum we tried: spaghetti Aglio/Olio, pizza Funghi and homemade lasagna. Very nice operation (family operation?! My spaghetti were excellent, slightly sharp with fresh pepper pieces, young garlic and fresh parsley, the pizza had a wonderful thin dough with tomato-fresh sauce and balanced proportion of fresh mushrooms and cheese, the lasagna was a baked dream with the same tomato sauce as Bolognese. We had not reserved Sunday night, but got a table and were served quickly. Even if it is not Freiburg City, you can easily reach the restaurant with the tram and do not receive heavy and spicy sauces, but light summer kitchen. The cosy interior completes the cosy family feeling on site.
