"Non mi aspettavo un posto così caldo nell 'accoglienza, raffinato e per nulla lezioso negli arredi, con illuminazione ben studiata; non hai impressione di entrare in pizzeria, nè in un ristorante, nè di essere in un bistrot. senza tempo è il nome più azzeccato, si è deliziati dal luogo, dalla facilità di parcheggio (che non guasta), dagli arredi e dai modi cortesi e professionali del personale. per poi sentirsi veramente senza riferimenti all 'assaggio del menu proposto, ampio, ricercato e in grado di soddisfare tutti. abbiamo assaggiato la tartare, molto buona, e una pizza che ci ha sorprese. siamo riuscite a parlare a tavola senza essere disturbate dal chiacchericcio dei tavoli vicini, grazie forse al fatto che il locale è molto grande e diviso in più stanze. e credo anche grazie al fatto che un posto di questo tipo richiami le persone a contenere la voce, a mantenere una pacatezza che spesso non si incontra più. vasta anche la scelta delle birre e molto interessante la cantina, compresi i vini in mescita. bravissimi, torneremo senz 'altro"

"We wanted to like this restaurant. We dined here many years ago and anticipated reliving that experience. Unfortunately, something was missing. The setting is absolutely perfect. One can choose to sit with a view of the valley, a garden experience or the dining room. Unfortunately, the positives largely ended there. We ordered carpaccio as a first course. They initially brought out gazpacho believing that that was the ordered first course. The carpaccio that they brought was very pretty but contained far too much mayonnaise and not enough arugula. We didn’t enjoy it. Our second course was a baked pasta dish which I liked and my wife did not. I would eat that dish again. We shared the veal Milanese as our final course. It was fine. We had to ask for lemons to be squeezed on it. We should not have had to ask. The vegetables were nicely prepared. The common theme is that the food was fine but the service was not acceptable. The waiters were very pleasant and nice. There was no headwaiter/maître d’. That was unacceptable and the service clearly showed the absence of a leader. I mentioned it to Concierge the next day who acknowledged it. He simply acknowledged it. Nothing more. Our server Laura was a shining star. She is perhaps the reason we gave the restaurant four stars rather than three. As a guest of the hotel for several days this is especially disappointing. The hotel and setting are spectacular. The restaurant has an indisputable heritage as witnessed by one Michelin star. It’s clearly not up to par."
