"Some of you may have noted my recent absence in writing reviews in English for families travelling in the Veneto and in Italy in general. I am back in the saddle and so must share a recent experience. At the Marian shrine of Cendrole beloved by Saint Pope Pius X, directly across the street is a wine cellar producer which in the dialect is Caneva, hence the name of the trattoria. In early May for lunch I took my son and a cousin to eat there. The food was excellent value as follows: bread, linen service, mineral or plain bottled water, wine (Cabernet Franc local), first plate, second plate, vegetable side dish, coffee and desert for 15 Euros a head. The first dishes were a choice of vegetable sauce fusilli, Bolognese pasta, lasagne... The second dishes included a fantastic rabbit stew with polenta... The vegetable side dish of cornet beans was one amongst many. I love being able to have vegetables as a side compared to ordinary salads restaurants are wont to provide. Dessert anyone? Oink, oink! Home made tiramisu ', strawberry cheesecake... The kids can run around outside on the shrine 's grounds while the parents rest their stomachs."

"We stopped last week, finding it a little random on maps maps. We're not in the area and it was on the road to where we were headed. The room is really beautiful and bright, furnished in a modern way. Food is space. We were three: I got the best pulled pork sandwich I've ever had. I made us add the bacon that remained fragrant. I was afraid the bun bread, which is usually tending to be sweet and stomacheole, instead their is super. Passed on the plate, crisp and delicate: phenomenal. My partner took a sandwich with their homemade Roastbeef. Even in this case nothing to excel. The third person with us chose a vegetarian bruschetta (Jole? , very well stuffed and full of flavor. It feels that all the ingredients are of excellent quality. I've seen the cook, a young boy, who's really happy. Great variety of beers and a great value for money. Special mention also to the staff, were courteous and not intrusive. I asked a lot of changes to the sandwich (including the type of accompanying fries and were really available. I'm sorry I didn't take pictures of the dishes. The next time we're in the area, it'll definitely be a forced stop."

"I must say I was pleasantly surprised. At the counter, I found a variety of classic and innovative proposals, both sweet and salty. Despite being crowded, the service was fast enough. But the real surprise was the toilet. It was clean, neat and also designed for the needs of children! If I have to find a small detail to improve, I would have two comments. The first is purely aesthetic: I would have preferred that both toilets had the same square design, in line with the rest of the bathroom. The second observation concerns towels. I understand that the position near the changing table is useful for parents who want to change their children, but those who just want to dry their hands risks wetting the changing table. Although there was also a hair dryer available, I think many prefer to use paper. However, these are only minor observations, since overall I can only praise the overall experience! Vote:"

"Absolut erschreckend.Nachdem wir nach den Reinfall des letzten Pächters hier wieder mal die Sportgaststätte testen wollten wurden wir aber wieder eines besseren belehrt.Nach guten 25 Minuten nach eintritt in den etwas kahl gestalteten Raum wurden wir endlich bemerkt.Das Bier und die Schorle mussten wir erraten welches und wie es das gibt da uns keine Speisekarte gereicht wurde.Das Bier wurde nicht gezapft (der neue Tresen musste wahrscheinlich geschont werden) wurde aus Flaschen ausgeschenkt.Nach dem servieren der Getränke erhielten wir immer noch keine Speisekarte, auf die Nachfrage ob Sie auch was zu essen hätten bekamen wir ein klägliches ja.Wir wissen bis heute nicht was da wir nach weiteren 20 Minuten immer noch keine Karte erhalten und das Lokal verlassen haben.Vielleicht sollten wir in der Küche nachfragen keine Ahnung ???Also wir werden da nicht mehr einkehren und erweitern unsere Kulinarische Landkarte mit einen weiteren weißen Fleck."
