Wonderful food, great service would recommend for all. Very course choice for the five is us was outstanding.

Raw prawns.. differing stories as to why they appeared uncooked .. apparently prawns change to grey when being transported Voir le carte

We visited and had 1 pizza , 1 pasta , a couple of starters . Service was very efficient and friendly , food was great . The bill was very reasonable. A nice busy ambiance, and a nice meal we will visiting again.

We were seated upstairs at 8.15 restaurant was emptying out felt cold and soulless . Our starter was poor we shared the anti pasta which consisted of 3 pieces of meat and a loaf of rocket . No condiments whatsoever on the table . Pleasant enough servers but we had to constantly ask for things . They weren’t pre empting customers needs . Food ok my friends prawns I. Her pasta looked decidedly dodgy . On the whole a very disappointing night

The food and service were excellent. However, the visit was spoilt when I was charged £4.95 for a large glass of lime soda! (It was only a half pint tumbler size though so not what I would class as a large). As the driver I really feel over charged especially when the single gin and tonic was £4.85. Where is the logic in that?! I will return but if I’m driving I’ll stick to tap water. Can the management please review the prices of soft drinks??! Voir le carte

We attempted to get a table on a Saturday night but the place was totally booked up, therefore we opted for take out as other pizza places in Lichfield were rated lower on TA. We tried a range of styles from vegetarian to bolognese. Toppings were quite ample but the quality of the pizza bases seemed fairly average compared to a real Italian place. Not air filled, or thin and crunchy. Maybe in the UK this is the preferred style not sure. In general the view was this could have been better.

Well we love Pizza by Goli but I’m afraid to say “Lichfield you just ain’t Sutton Coldfield at all” In fairness the food was good but we were put upstairs by the windows, and it was freezing, even the people on the table next to us complained about how drafty the windows were. Sorry to say but I don’t think we will return and don’t think it should even have the same name as it just doesn’t reflect what I know Sutton to be. Such a shame…… Sort those windows out guys, ruins what could have been a great night…!!

I am writing this review because there is no ability to review trip advisor. Trip advisor offers no facility to respond negatively to totally unreasonable reviews. I have been a frequent user of Pizza by Goli have over many decades and they have provided exceptional food with only occassional lapses in quality. Several recent reviews are from people who are assigning totally unreasonable ratings for relatively minor issues. They are entitled to their view but trip advisor should allow comment or at least downvotes for poor reviews. Finally TA should encourage criticism of their own facility as well as other providers. I can find no easy way to give feedback to trip advisor. Voir le carte
