"This restaurant is a few minutes walk from the centre of town. We had a wonderful evening with amazing food. This is a run entirely by a very friendly and attentive husband a wife team, Adriano and Rosy. The pasta was all home made and cooked perfectly al dente. The sauces were delicious. The panna cotta was perfect. There is an outdoor area but we sat inside. This was a night that will stay in our memory. We spent 54 Euros and had three courses, glasses of wine, coffee and a limoncello. We loved the wine, we loved the food and we loved the hosts."

Fantastic food and atmosphere! Adriano and Rosy were wonderful hosts at their cozy Italian restaurant. Suggest you ask Adriano what he recommends (although I suspect everything on the menu is outstanding). We had the beef carpaccio as an appetizer followed by the apple and ricotta ravioli and tiramisu for dessert. I was tempted to lick my plate!!! Mille grazie!

There is nothing better than finding a small, quaint family owned restaurant where the food is good and the owners are so charming. The Italian owners were very nice, whether you are a couple, a family with children, or a group of friends, they are welcoming and can make you feel at home. We enjoyed our food, the drinks and the conversation. We highly recommend it.

Ottimi prodotti italiani e molte cose fatte in casa. Consigliatissimo

This really is a fabulous little restaurant right in the heart of Oberammergau. The menu is not extensive but offers the very best in home cooked Italian cuisine. The owner and his wife are genuine, attentive and knowledgeable about the food, wine and beer they serve. Our only regret was that they were not open on our 2nd evening in Oberammergau as we would have certainly eaten there again.

"Interesting that I would have to come all the way to Oberammagau to find great Mexican food in Germany. The Germans don't do spicy very well; schnitzel and bratwurst yes, spicy no. So I was skeptical when my wife wanted to go try El Puente because she wanted Mexican food. We've been to two places in Stuttgart, and both of them ranged from bad to on par with Taco Bell. The first thing that strikes you is the atmosphere. Very lively, great music (ranging from Tejano to other styles of Mexican music which I am unfamiliar with), and the decor is very interesting. I wouldn't say authentic, as authentic places in Mexico don't quite have their walls festooned with cattle skulls, serapes, and sombreros, it's understandable that they have to set the mood, given that the Alps are just around the corner. The food was great, well above what I expected. I had the Chili con Carne, and while this is usually a throwaway dish on the menu, I would say this should be a go-to menu item for anyone wanting a little spice in their life. Not overpowering spice, but it's enough to let you know that it's there. The fresh baked bread to dip into the Chili con Carne was also a great touch. My wife had the chicken enchiladas, which had a lot of flavor, the tortillas tasted very fresh, and the chicken was very tender. Overall, another place to put down in our books of regular places we will go when we are in Oberammagau (see my s'Wirsthaus review for another place)."
