We had a wonderful experience at dinner on Saturday night with excellent service, they even comped part of the bill! My husband and I hurried to arrive before last call at 10pm and made it by 9:40pm... Voir le carte

Pani's offers some of the most delicious Italian cuisine I have ever had. The prices are very reasonable and its convenient location next to the Theatre Royal makes it a great choice for pre-show dining.

My daughter recommended this restaurant to us, so we decided to visit during our weekly outing. It turned out to be the best decision we've made. The food was amazing, the ambiance was lovely, and the staff were excellent.

You can’t go wrong eating at an Italian restaurant. I’m a pescatarian and always try the fish dishes when I eat out. The waiters at Pani’s Cafe were extremely accommodating as we were a large group. My prawn starter was adapted due to my allergies...and so was my main course of sea bass. I can’t fault the food or the service. Absolutely lovely waiting staff and chefs. Definitely visit here again when I come back to Newcastle Voir le carte

Panis is a popular restaurant that opened its doors there is a ten danne in the historic center of Bilbao, then CTAIT the first Italian restaurant. The success of Panis is due to the fact that it offers good dishes typical of Sardinia, full of flavor and the cheap sun. At night, the menu is a bit more formal, pasta dishes and pizzas replace paninis, but still cost between 6 and 8 pounds and desserts within 3 pounds, with delicious cotta panna or great mum pineapple, a duty! We eat well for less than 15 pounds, drinks included. The restaurant is full of dtudiants and young people. Italian brothers who share import their wines from Sardinia, Tuscany and Puglia themselves.

"The place seems unprofessionally run. The staff all look like they could do with a bath. No overalls are worn and their clothes are all of the type that many would wear to lounge around the house in . Several have longer hair and beards but don’t wear any kitchen p.p.e. The decor is shabby and I wondered what kind of hygiene rating they would have. Although not busy, the staff seemed to be disorganised, falling over eachother and lacking in training. They seemed to handle the food in an inexperienced, clumsy fashion. The only tool I saw being used was a pizza peel for taking the pizza in and out of the oven. On all other occasions the food was handled. I didn’t notice any hand washing or alcohol gel in evidence. The menu is quite limited and uninspiring. 2 of the 6 pizza choices include chicken which Italians would argue is definite no no! All pizzas are reheated to order which eliminates the possibility of customisation. I don’t believe the restaurant would stand out in many European countries, as pizza in general is of a much higher standard than that in the UK. In spite of the above, The basic pizza is excellent in taste (even though it is all re-heated). And for this reason it is worth a visit. Compared to other uk pizza restaurants which are typically serving absolute garbage, the food is way out in front. If you can tolerate the negatives I’m sure you won’t be disappointed with the pizza. However with a bit of effort, this place could be transformed into something truly amazing."
