"this is one of our regular and most popular restaurants to visit not only in our hometown hornchurch, but throughout the essex. we always enjoy great eating by chef craig and excellent service by manager giovanni. but I must say that our last visit on Sunday was just one of the best. we came to the usual kind greeting of giovanni before we sat on our table. we ordered an aperitif to give us the opportunity to view the menu. it was when giovanni came back not only with our drinks, but also with the specials in which we would be for a little surprise. unknown for us craig offered us the opportunity to have a charcuterie board and a bark carpaccio as starter options that we liked to accept. we then ordered a bottle of montepulciano D’Abruzzo to couple with the food. to the starters of a charcuterie board and beef carpaccio, both of which were absolutely fabulous. the carpaccio was accompanied with mushrooms, nuts parmesan, while besides the fabulous selection of meat were olives, sun-dried tomatoes, filled pfeffer, burrata salat. To be honest, everyone was a very joyful one. after a nice little break it was time for the main course where my wife enjoyed their favorite spaghetti bygole. for me I was for a real tasty as from the special table I chose the braised beef with broccoli creamy maic, which was absolutely fantastic and without doubt one of the best dishes that ever at da vinci. now it was time for desserts where my wife from the specials chose the cherry almond bombe while I had the classic tiramisu. accompanying this craig sent a heavenly lemon lime posset. we finished with a coffee to end a fabulous lunch. the eating of craig was amazing and the service was nothing else than they expect from giovanni and his team. that is really a restaurant that I would recommend and is also a good credit not only to my hometown of hornchurch, but also to the graphic essex. when we were asked for the bill, a free glass of basilius and harbour were sent to our table as the last lovely personal touch. many thanks to craig giovanni for an excellent lunch and look forward to many more visits in the future."

A warm welcome and attentive staff. The food and service were great and at a very reasonable price. We were able to have a good catch up without it being too noisy and we would all visit again.

We had a brilliant night with our family, 10 of us in all, everyone said it was a lovely meal with great entertainment, the staff couldn’t do enough for us. All of our party said they couldn’t wait to go back. Keep it up davinci

Da Vinci's have got it just right. Traditional Italian dishes done properly, a personable front of house led by the enthusiastic Giovanni, and great background music. I strongly recommend trying the homemade limoncello! Grazie mille

Excellent service and food . I went for my birthday lunch in November and a Christmas night out with friends. The food was excellent. Especially the steak , pizza and pastas. We had a singer on the Friday night for Christmas which added to the...atmosphere. The service was great and I will 100%return

my sister and her family come here alit, but this is my first visit. I was very impressed by service and eating. the restaurant can become a little loud, as the acoustic is not great, especially when it was as busy as last night, but in general the atmosphere was very good. I would definitely go back and try the dishes I had exaggerated!

Well Da Vinci’s take a bow … Christmas Meal today was fantastic … against the odds COVID you contacted us to let us know staff levels where low service may be longer than normal .. This Italian is a little gem in the heart of hornchurch. I visited for my birthday in November for lunch .I have the meatballs for starters and my partner the squid. For mains I had the vongole that was delicious and my pater had the...steak that was melt in the mouth experience. For afters was a tiramisu home made and the best I've tasted. I would 100% recommend and will definitely return .

We dined here with friends for the first time and had cocktails to start then starters, mains and dessert. Hospitality was great, I had the chicken in breadcrumbs which was beautifully cooked and my friends had pasta dishes which they couldn't fault. The ambience didn't...feel rushed, and the limoncello shots were a nice touch. Overall, a great evening here to catch up with friends. Will be back.

A refined and delicious menu with all the classics. The food at this restaurant is consistently impeccable but even more important than that is the fantastic team who work here. Craig and the guys are professional, accommodating and SO hard working. There are a lot...of options in Hornchurch and Upminster but if you are looking for the best Italian it is here. It’s the perfect mix of quality and value, see you all in a week or two! PS I couldn’t find a decent picture from last night so I’ve included one of my cat hoping to be painted like one of the French girls.
