I think this was the worst customer service I have ever received. When I asked for the menu he wasn’t sure which one to give, then after that I asked for an itemised recept and he didn’t know how to do that either. After nearly an hour wait we got our food… He also didn’t want to offer us soya sauce….

This is a bizzare place decor wise and seems that Tangs is shut and Japanese now upstairs so need to sort signage. There is a massive menu and lots for vegan. The options we had were mostly very good although the large vegetarian sushi platter was mostly the same which was a shame. Service was quite slow despite being quiet but only one staff member in. Would probably order takeaway next time.

I have been coming to this restaurant for years and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys Japanese cuisine. This is the best place I have ever been for dinner. The food is delicious, fresh, and of a very high standard. I wonder who the talented chef is behind the hot food. The staff are friendly and the restaurant has an extremely gorgeous atmosphere with impressive decor. I would definitely come back often.xx Nan Voir le carte

Worst restaurant experience ever. Place was filthy, service was terrible and after waiting 20 minutes for an order to be taken, we walked out as did 2 other groups of diners at the same time. Incidentally I did go to use the toilet on first floor and I noticed a door half open nearby. A chest freezer could clearly be seen to have the lid open wide and a huge build up of frost all around the lid area. Not exactly encouraging. Would never go back

Service was terrible waited for 20 minutes to be served food and we were the only table there, waited for our drinks and didnt arrived until we asked. Was freezing, no heating was on. Mains were not good, the sushi didnt taste fresh at all! The food was okay and edible however did not taste as authentic as it was advertised, very disappointed! Bill was given straight after mains were done without asking for further drinks or dessert. Overall bad experience and overpriced for what you are getting.

I was a bit disappointed with my experience at Oshiburis in Dundee. I was excited to try some Japanese cuisine, but the restaurant itself was lacking in decor and was quite cold inside. The service was friendly and helpful, but the food took over 30 minutes to arrive even though there were only a few tables occupied. My partner enjoyed his ramen, but my chicken katsu Bento box was just okay. I don't plan on going back to Oshiburis, as I felt the prices were too high for the quality and ambiance of the restaurant. Honestly this place has become a bit of a joke. The food and service used to be amazing and now it has all gone to shambles. The restaurant it self is run down and dirty (with a desperate need of repair). The service from the staff is just a lack attention towards the tables they are looking after, be that from inexperience or simply never having enough people working on busy days. And the food itself tastes like a student has made it. Ok if you were making it yourself but not when you are paying over £30 a dish with a mandatory 10% service charge added for no apparent reason. I recently visited Pammij So Oshiboris, a Japanese restaurant in Dundee. The restaurant had a beautiful interior and the food looked delicious. However, I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the dishes. The octopus bites starter was unappetizing, with tiny pieces of octopus that were barely noticeable. The King prawn tempura was okay, but the main dish of eel with eel sauce was disgusting – the texture and taste were off, and the rice was too starchy. My husband's beef dish was tasteless, bland, and rubbery. We ended up paying £120 for a very poor meal and I gave negative feedback on the way out. By phone, I ordered Chicken Teriyaki Bento to take and the process was easy one star. The food portion (I ordered Small) was good one more star. However, the dish was not Chicken Teriyaki it was Chicken Katsu smothered in Teriyaki sauce. Also, the rice, which was not sticky Japanese rice, was flavoured with a more Chinese twist to the flavour and the green garnish (mini salad) had a sweetened dressing No star. What was given to me was, wrongly, Chicken Katsu (Breaded Chicken) with Teriyaki sauce if in Japan the sauce for Katsu would have come in a sachet to squeeze over yourself just when you sit to eat.
