I want to extend my thanks to the front-of-house team for their warm welcome. Although we arrived a bit late, they were incredibly accommodating. Special thanks to Irvana (I hope I spelled that correctly) for providing excellent service! My steak experience took me on a nostalgic journey—like Anton Ego savoring his ratatouille in Gusto’s restaurant. It reminded me of a family meal in Holland during my childhood, where I had my first real steak. This may have even surpassed that memory! I was initially hesitant about dining at Miller and Carter since it's a chain restaurant, but if you're feeling the same way, let me assure you: don't be. While it may not be the cheapest option, it definitely deserves a smart-casual dress code that anyone who understands proper dining etiquette should respect. Curious, I browsed through other reviews, and I found it hard to believe anyone could leave a 1-star review without sounding like a “Karen.” It’s important to take reviews with a grain of salt—this is truly a fantastic restaurant! In summary, if you're a fan of steak, this place will take great care of you and provide excellent recommendations for how to enjoy your meal just the way you like it. Perfect!"

Unfortunately, due to a Covid outbreak, our original Christmas party was cancelled by miller and carter, but yesterday evening 26 of us enjoyed the most amazing meal with some free drinks for disappointment in December. I could not harm the staff and the venue.

One of our favorite dinner spots! The service is fantastic, as always—friendly, attentive staff who really know their menu. We enjoyed appetizers, a shared main dish, and dessert, all of which were wonderful. The steak practically melts in your mouth. The new menu features many enticing options, and I can't wait to return!

The dining experience was enjoyable. They offer a great selection of gluten-free options, which is still quite uncommon, especially in Horsham. The portion sizes were decent, and there was a nice variety of alcohol-free drinks, including mocktails. My only suggestion for improvement would be to allow more time between courses for the main meal. I would definitely visit again. Voir le carte

Although we haven't visited this restaurant chain before, if all locations are like the one in Horsham, they are definitely onto something special! The service was exceptional, particularly from Scarlett, who was an absolute delight and a real asset to the team. Her friendly demeanor and knowledge of the menu were impressive. The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, especially steaks, all of which are of excellent quality and beautifully presented. I started with scallops, followed by a full rack of ribs, and finished with sticky toffee pudding and a double espresso. We will definitely be returning soon!

Everything was fantastic, me and my partner went out for a Birthday meal. We were served by Elena and she made everything perfect from start to finish! The food was fantastic and the service was also fantastic. Although one small thing that irked me was that one of the staff was walking around with an air-pod in. Felt a little awkward to see, I'm sure the music that he was listing to was great but not sure it is needed in a customer facing job. (Regardless) The food was perfectly cooked, we both felt like we were valued. Elena asked us if we were at the restaurant for anything special. "My mother and I had been following the Masterchef Pro comp ' last year and were really keen to sample some of the winner, Tom Hamblet 's, food. We travelled a 4 hour round trip for the experience. We don 't eat at fine dining restaurants often but we are foodies. Firstly, the setting of the restaurant is very lavish and comfortable with warm low lighting. That said, the dinner experience was a little too dark for my mother so that 's something to think about if you struggle with eyesight and low lighting. The service was friendly, attentive and speedy/efficient. The food: I 'll start with the dessert because that was a real pleasure for us. We both loved the flavours of Tom 's end of series winning dessert so the meal ended on a high (we ordered the Olive Oil sponge with lemon curd). I recommend not ruining your palette with the overly sweet petit four that are placed in front of you following dessert unfortunately ours were more sugar flavoured than any other identifiable flavour. Our starters and mains were very VERY underwhelming. They arrived looking beautiful, neat and tidy but failed to deliver on taste. I had wanted the celeriac themed starter but the waiting staff told me the vegan/veggie starters and mains were created by their head chef and not Tom. That was disappointing as his 3 month residency was the reason we 'd visited the restaurant. We ended up both having the lobster starters after the waiting staff recommended it highly as either a starter or an additional dish to share. The claw meat was minimal and tough and the foam mousse took centre stage on the plate. Whilst the plate had lots of textures to it, we felt it was unbalanced and generally with no 'wow ' to it. We enjoyed the coffee and rye bread with butter and pollen/fennel that came prior to this thought. I ordered the Guinea Fowl as a main after the waiter described it as a gamey, dark and tender meat. I feel like a better description to someone that hasn 't had guinea fowl before would be 'it 's like a chicken breast with a different flavour '. This is what arrived in front of me and I actually found it was quite dry and not dark at all! I would never have ordered anything that resembled chicken breast anyway so I felt ill informed about my choice. I also thought the girolles were overwhelmingly tart. I didn 't enjoy my main. Mum 's Hogget was nice but average for her too. Last comment I 've never in my life paid £6.50 for less than 1.5ltrs mineral water beware! I don 't care how much money you have it 's water!!!"
