This restaurant was a real find on the Camino del Norte. Everything was perfect the food, service, wine, ambiance even the music! My waiter Alexander was extremely helpful with assisting me with the menu and making excellent wine matching choices for each course. The food was creative and absolutely delicious. Very friendly. Great atmosphere! But of course what people really come for is the fantastic food and wine! The seafood is all superb of course! The wines are excellent and the service very friendly and efficient. what stands out is the wonderful steak!! a local steak done poco hecha and finished off on iron skillets bought to the table, cooked with some fat from the beast! a wonderful, wonderful meal. Foreigners in spain should allow 3 h for lunch in this superb environment. Not the cheapest but worth every penny!

What a wonderful discovery on the road from Ribadeo to Ribeira Sacra! This restaurant has a downstairs more casual portion and an upstairs more formal restaurant. We had a decadent lunch for two: small scallops (zamburinas) perfectly grilled to start, and then fish and steak for our mains, and some very creative desserts (including a curry ice cream). The wine list at this restaurant is quite extensive and offers some incredible selections. Most of all, the service here was very kind hearted and generous and the epitome of hospitality. Worth going out of your way to try this fantastic restaurant.
