"the maxim is part of the hotel belvedere in binz, where I stayed for 5 nights in juni 2021; see also my hotel review just published here. in the 2nd night I checked the maxim and went to the tapas plate (Tapas plate.) it was simple. infertile, beginning with the presentation of the food. and although it is marked as an appetizer, enough to pay for a full meal. and all the other evenings of my trip I came to dinner to order a la carte. in the second night I went to the garnelenpfanne maxim (prawn pan maxim), because the waitress recommended it and it was also on a full meal, so many great garnels come with it; in restaurants they are quite penny-pinching when it comes to it. not here. last night I went for the Kraeuter-Gambas... excellent. each of the desserts I had during my trip also here, for such quality there is always room. ... and last but not least, the wine menu is very ecclectic."

Great food, great wine, perfect service! The menu is rather limited, but the food is fantastic. Service was perfect, really accommodating. Well worthwhile a visit! Voir le carte

The hotel is set back from the bustling seafront promenade which is a blessing as it was nice and quiet. Excellent food and attentive, friendly staff. Well worth searching out.

At the end of August we enjoyed a quite nice dinner here. We all tried nice fish dishes. Very good and well chilled wine matched the fish perfect. As starter we had a common big plate of tapas, ham, sausages, cheese, etc. Good service.

The service was attentive and friendly and the place itself quite nice (we sat on the veranda). The food is more upscale and in a different class than the rest of Binz and quite good. The portions we got were huge, too huge for my...taste. A decent wine list made it a very nice evening. Voir le carte

Some people like one thing, and other people might not. Here is a review after my dining based on facts. What was ordered: Tomato soup Schnitzel Tuna carpaccio Burger Good: The wine choise and amound that was served. The meat well prepared of the maincourse....Nice balanced sauce with the burger that fits the bacon nicely. Not good: Sand in the lettuce, and no apologies. Lack of herbes with the tuna that makes it very “fishy”. Very small dining cart what makes it hard for a larger group to find something that fits the different tastes.

We had a dinner in this restaurant; Maxim in Binz. Compared to the website it's a different restaurant. No beautiful dressed tables, different decoration, different atmosphere... in fact nothing to do with the pictures on their website. Not at all! A new owner? As they...told us not... The food was not good. Nothing to do with wath you see on the website. The schnitzel was even really bad taste and expensive as well. But I must admit they didn't charge it. The staff was friendly and it's not their fault. They solved the problems as good as they could but I don't recommand this restaurant. Tourist trap? Johann Wannyn Belgium

Aha ... was denn dann?
