"Booked a table and found they never had our booking but managed to get a table. Order our food and drink via the app, had to opt for a 2nd choice as my first was not available. Waiter came out and told me they never had my 2nd choice so had to opt for something else of the same value. Food arrived but some of the order was missing and no staff around to complain. A massive chest freezer was clearly visible with the chef coming out to grab food now and then. I would not recommend eating here but a great place to grab a drink. A pity as it looked like such a nice place"

Staff were excellent, friendly and efficient. Food was very good. Quite a reasonable selection of wines by the glass.

Came into the market Monday evening with a couple of friends for a drink. Really great atmosphere and looking very festive. Only had drinks but the staff really friendly and knowledgeable about all the drinks on offer. I had the nicest doombar you could ever want

Visited on a Sunday lunchtime with my family. Lovely roast and reasonably priced at around £12 and was a big portion. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful and will certainly be returning when I am next in the area on a Sunday. You can also get a burger and drink combo for around £10 which almost rivals spoons and is a far nicer atmosphere.

Came here on Tuesday, the place is in a lovely place but because it was raining everywhere was empty. The two girls that were working were both lovely and very chatty, it seems like they have been working everyday from what they were saying but they were so nice and lovely that you couldn't tell they were probably tired. Next time we are in Salisbury we will definitely return if we are as welcome as we were this time round.

Decided on this place for a spot of lunch with my other half whilst out Christmas shopping and was completely disappointed! The woman behind the bar was rude and quite obviously didn’t want to be there! Ordered food and when it arrived we were beyond shocked! I ordered the lasagna only for it to turn up looking like soup and when I questioned the waiter on why it was swimming in water he told me that it was ment to be like that! Absolutely vile needless to say it wasn’t eaten! Definitely won’t be back!

"We stayed here ten years ago and thought it was wonderful and worth every penny. We were so excited to return, but really Disapointed. The grounds are lovely and we were pleased with our room. The children loved the outdoor space and the pool What really let us down was the food and service. There was no luxury here. The family dining choices were poor. The children's meal was bad one had fish gougons and sweet potato fries which were very salty. The other two had pizza, the small was served as half a pizza, the large was a conventional round shape. Both were shop bought bases (cardboard) with grated Cheddar on the top. Something I would not feed them at home let alone expect in a supposedly high end dining. My husband's steak was chewy. My main, whole plaice with creamed potatoes, the potato was served in a ceramic dish and it was cold. It was taken away and then took ten minutes to return by which point I had eaten the fish. The food was incredibly expensive considering how poor the offerings were. The next day we ate a very late lunch in Bath so we would not have to eat at the hotel. The breakfast buffet area had some nice items but was really understocked and allowed to run to empty. The staff functioned but not at a steady rate, we found the service slow and the staff disinterested. Such a contrast to our previous visit. The person in charge we found sullen and felt as if our presence was an inconvenience. When we walked through to the dining areas we would hop out of the staff'so way for fear of being bulldozed. When we left the receptionist was polite but did not ask if we enjoyed our stay. A week later I had an email to complete a survey and nobody got in touch despite the same feedback as given here. Very dispointing. Lovely room and surroundings but poor food and poor attitude from staff. Last year we stayed in a hotel that cost 65% less than Wooley Grange and had a much better experience."

"We had a tremendously good lunch here today-the food was quite delicious, the staff were very friendly and helpful-I’d say it’s probably one of the best lunches I’ve had in quite some time….so to give you a clue we both had the pork-this sounded really lovely and we were not disappointed-pork belly, tenderloin,a faggot and a ham hock croquet with mashed potato and roasted cauliflower with a delicious jus and a slice of pickled apple( which I ate immediately with a piece of pork and when the waiter came to ask how our lunch was I asked if he could possibly get me another piece-which he did For dessert we shared the passion fruit crème brûlée which came with a passion fruit sorbet and some chocolate soil…..the focaccia we had at the start of the meal was superb and the coffee was also excellent -we do enjoy both cooking and eating-one of life’s pleasures and it’s abundantly clear the chef absolutely loves food too-a great display of cooking books from the greats sort of got me thinking it would be a good lunch…….also worth noting the drinks menu-some lovely wines, soft drinks and cocktails both alcoholic and non alcoholic. I finished off with a mocha which was hot chocolatey but not too sweet. Bradford on Avon is most definitely worth a visit and I’d say you would be foolish to miss out on a great experience if you didn’t also pop in to the bunch of grapes for some sustenance while there… Thanks for lunch and as Arnie says “ we’ll be back”….."
