The food and service here were dire. The food was over cooked and over priced. Ordered drinks and received the wrong ones. Total waste of money

A group of 13 women had a Pensioner’s Lunch here which was two courses for £14.95. There was a large choice of dishes, the food didn’t take long to come out and the young waiters were very obliging. We were in a lovely room with Wedgwood Blue walls. Incidentally, the chips were some of the best I have ever tasted!

Food is really good. Freshly cooked. Personal very friendly and helpful. I’ve been asked how I’d like my duck cooked didn’t have that in many restaurants. Vegetables could have been cooked just a bit more. My husband hat a chefs crumble for desert was great but peaches weren’t fresh so that’s the missing point. Everything else was perfect. We recently celebrated my husband's 90th birthday and our 65th wedding anniversary at this restaurant. The meal was delicious and the live music in the bar afterwards added to our night. The staff was friendly and attentive, with Mariola ensuring everything was just how we wanted it. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

I recently dined at this restaurant in the Spring of 2022 as it was starting to return to normal after a series of lockdowns. It was great to return and see it fully up and running again. The menu is outstanding! I had a delicious goat cheese and beet salad to start, followed by seafood linguine. I'm glad I'm staying at the hotel for a few more days because there are so many other tempting dishes on the menu. The service is friendly and attentive while also being discreet, and overall dining in this charming oak-paneled restaurant is a delightful experience. I highly recommend it!

During our stay at Muthu Bestest Brook, we dined at the Manor Restaurant. The A La Carte menu offered a wide variety of choices. My favorite starter was the Gin Cured Smoked Salmon, which was delicious. The selection of main courses was extensive, making it difficult to choose between the Sea Bass, Chicken with Tarragon Sauce, Calves Liver, and the perfectly cooked Sirloin Steak. The portions were generous, and the desserts were tempting, although I couldn't always fit one in! The staff were friendly and professional, as I would expect.
