"We have dined at La Piazetta in Midhurst on several occasions, experiencing varying levels of satisfaction. After our most recent visit, I fear we may not return. We all selected items from the menu, but none of us were pleased with our meals. The appetizers were the only highlight, consisting mainly of prawns with Marie Rose sauce and melons wrapped in prosciutto. My main course, the veal escalope, was dry and tough, similar to what another member of our party ordered. The other main dish featured a heavy fish that was covered in an oddly sweet sauce, which did not work well at all. The desserts were nearly enjoyable, but the portions were excessive, especially the tiramisu. The chocolate cake was decent but nothing memorable. I think this will be our last visit."

We thoroughly enjoyed our first dinner in the establishment having moved into the area recently and I'm sure we will be back. The quality of the food and wine and the service was excellent and it was very good value overall.

We have been to La Piazetta Midhurst on a number of occasions with varying levels of satisfaction. Following the last visit I am afraid we will not be returning. We chose the set menu special and none of us were happy with our meals. the starters were probably the only highlight of the meal but they were not anything other than Prawns Marie Rose and Melo with Prosciutto.
