eating is very tasty and the staff very friendly. also good German beer for cooling with warm weather. I recommend it and they have to try it when they are in amberg.

excellent meat was served exactly on the ordered point "medium rare". the grilled pfifferlings as a supplement fit very well. the house was full, we were still not sent away, but were allowed to wait with quickly served drink until a place was free. the service crew was very friendly and fast despite the great guest tower.

I was at least a dozen times in the copper fandl (French, as we used to call it). the waiters and chefs are always warm and friendly and recognize their guests. they celebrate with them special occasions and make every culinary experience something special. I once asked for a late reservation and asked for special seats for the birthday of my engaged, and they were absolutely courteous. perfect atmosphere. also one of the very few restaurants in amberg that accepts debit and credit cards! on visit in the old home in amberg, of course we visited the copper pandl again. the steaks were excellent as before. I ordered filet bleu and it was served exactly like that. a salat and otherwise nix. very friendly staff and also the prices are more likely to be regarded as favourable for the quality of the steak. also the ambiente in the next room fits. small, rustic, but cozy. who searches a design locally is here of course at the wrong address. we like to come back when we get back to amberg.

from the outside the restaurant looks more repulsive. the most visible would have to be cleaned urgently! if I had come by without any reference, I would never have entered. this would have been a total shame. we spent a super cozy evening here. the steaks were great, even the around is delicious. absolutely classic as a steakhouse 30 years ago, also priced. you can entertain yourself super in the rustic rooms, which is often difficult in very modern local because of the acoustics. so don't let the spine weaves in the showbox scare off!

we had reserved what is recommended! Fourthly, we would receive friendly and very polite and brought to our table! the team is very attentive and always friendly! only manko: you should not chew in the service absolutely chewing gum, and if so, then not so noticeable!But now in the eat! we had four different main dishes! all came simultaneously! four different types of meat. all came at the same time and what is more important to me and to us, all came to the point as ordered. I am a native amberger, and besides family visits, the copper pandl is definitely worth even to go to the mountain only to eat.It was a super evening with excellent food.
