I love their mixed grill... meat is always fresh and succulent. I collect take away from them regularly and enjoy with my family.

I went to this restaurant with my mom who was craving Persian food. She loved her lamb dish and the portion of lentils was delicious. My vegan platter was also very tasty and a pleasant surprise on the menu. All of the curries were perfectly cooked. We will definitely come back again!

Persian cuisine is still relatively unknown and this restaurant proves that we have a hidden jewel that makes the trip to Filton Avenue well worth it. Kookoo (Gilan Kitchen) is now back to its top form. We recently enjoyed a delightful takeout meal of Kubideh (Lamb kebab) and saffron rice. The food was absolutely delicious, and we are thrilled to become regular customers once again. We had stopped visiting due to the previous owner's subpar service, but we are happy to see that the restaurant has improved.

I searched for Persian restaurants in the Bristol area and this one had the best reviews so we decided to try it out. We defnitely were not disappointed. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced given the quality of it. The restaurant is small but well laid out. The waiter was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. We will definitely be returning here next time we are in the area. It's on a main road but there was plenty of onstreet parking available.

We hadn't booked in advance but being a Wednesday night we successfully gambled on it not being full. For starters I ordered Marinated Olives With Walnuts Sweet Pomegranate Seeds. All starters are served with the most delicious Persian flat bread. As much as I love them I was not prepared for the vast quantity of olives I was served. I'd recommend ordering a starter each and sharing them as there's more than enough to go around. For main course I ordered the Slow Cooked Lamb With Herby Rice from the specials board. The lamb was served on the bone but it was so incredibly tender that the meat just fell away. The herby rice was a lovely accompaniment. Like the starters there was no skimping on... Voir le carte
