"Booked a table for half 7, after a few minutes it became clear they didn't have a table for us. After a little while they managed to squeeze us into a corner table where they promptly forgot about us. Waited for half an hour without even being brought a menu, genuinely felt like the staff were going out of their way to ignore us. They did take a drink order, which was wrong anyway. After half an hour we got up and went, the manager saw I leave and didn't even acknowledge us, probably relieved as they are clearly not equipped to deal with the amount of tables they have. Went to Periwinkle Bistro just round the corner where the staff were attentive, friendly, and the service was quick."

Went here last night, 4 of us. Food was excellent. The prawns in seaweed starter was absolutely delicious. Steaks were cooked to perfection Well done all. We will be back soon

This fantastic restaurant located in the heart of Saundersfoot offers plentiful and delicious food. The ambiance is tastefully decorated and has a good atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

Won't be going back.Personally I thought the food was over priced and not as great as what I heard. Service was very poor for the drinks..Waitress didn't have a clue about the wine. Waited for ever for the drinks and said are we ready for the starter. We said we haven't received our drinks yet..how can you forget about a table of 9.

I visited Kookaba on a chilly April evening, and despite the weather, it was still bustling with customers. The food was amazing. Even though we were a group of 8, our meals arrived promptly. I tried the ostrich burger and kangaroo burger, both of which were nicely presented. It's advisable to make a reservation, especially during peak season or weekends.

I had always heard that Kookaba was a fantastic restaurant to visit. The service was excellent, but the food did not live up to the hype for me. They offer generous portions for the price, but the overall quality of the cooking was average. I tried the Mixed Grill and it was decent, but both the gammon and steak were burnt on one side. My friend also experienced the same issue with their burger. It seemed that all of the items were conveniently served with the burnt side facing down.
