"Top notch food and service The fish and chips are great, had them to take away and was impressed so went and had eat in a few days later. Eat in is a scaled up version (big portion) with home made mushy peas and tartare sauce. The chips on both events where of a different type and not home made however tasty and plentiful nevertheless. If you’re a mussel fan, order them for starters and there’s enough to share. What did it for me though was the super efficient and professional service by the front of house team. I’m super sensitive to picking up on things as I worked in the F&B industry previously so do know what’s what. These guys are top notch, really attentive and efficient. I will most definitely be coming back."

"Well first of all arriving to the hotel it looks like an average house with a lots of car park, apart from the sign on the side of the road that says Heywood Spa nothing special for a 4.6 star hotel.The stuff is absolutely amazing, feels like a family run “posh wannabe” hotel.We had the executive room (210), the double bed had 2 single mattress, ripped wallpapers, a really noisy old school A/C and a little TV like a monitor in the middle, shower has a really really poor water pressure, you have to be straight under it, the walls are very thin you can hear people sneezing 4 rooms next to you and hear people checking in the reception even though it’s pretty far away. The balcony had 2 metal chairs without pillows and a tiny table. The spa is another downside of the hotel as the sauna not working 5 years ago as seeing now the reviews, still not working, the hot tub has loads of chemicals in it it’s literally making a bubble bath into the pool after 10 minutes. Pool is very cold and pretty small as well as the hot tub. Once you finished you have to walk through the restaurant unless you’d like to use the changing room what is literally just a room with a lightbulb and chair, no heating or anything obviously.Restaurant and the bar looks nice but a Vodka/Coke ended up £8 and a Corona lager £5.50. The breakfast is pretty good if it’s included the £200 a night price but I definitely wouldn’t pay for it separately as you have many options in Tenby. The lunch is looking good but way over seasoned to make it look nice and it’s really not worth £25. Pasta one side of the plate was taste like English mustard and nothing else. The tip is 10% what is fair but I’d personally pay double tip for the service and half price for the food. You have many Italian restaurants for half a price with awesome food on the beach.This hotel is definitely not 4.6 star, maybe 3 because of the little Spa but way overpriced and overrated.I’m not being picky, but for £200 a night in one of Tenby’s most expensive 4.6 star Hotel people have expectations."

"We were staying upstairs and decided to give the cafe and cellar bar a try. Loved the cellar bar! Amazing! The cafe was lovely but we were a little disappointed at the breakfast menu, all we fancied was a bacon or sausage sandwich. We were surprised there was no typical fried breakfast items on the menu. Overall very nice, we had the Welsh rarebit which was lovely but lacked any salad or garnish on the side. It wouldn’t put us off coming again but maybe not for breakfast."

"A great pub all round. Eaten here on several occasions and consistently good food. Sunday lunch always a good test of kitchen skills and this did not disappoint. Staff are welcoming and Huw as always made us feel very welcome. Good choice of wines and not extensive but nice range of beers. Top pub."

"I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The food was excellent, the beer was great, and the service was top-notch. Plus, the value for money is impressive. I would estimate the average cost per person to be between £20 and £30. Overall, I would rate the food and service a perfect 5 out of 5, and the atmosphere a solid 4 out of 5. Highly recommended!"
